  1. IMO, Perriman might not be getting the physical reps, but he sure is more than likely getting the playbook down, and i don't see a big issue with Flacco and Perriman getting in Sync once he gets on the field....If he knows his routes and the playbook, then it's just a matter of Flacco getting his speed dialed in, and then he just throws to spots, where a WR is supposed to be....Like most players tell you, all have the physical tools, its getting the mental tools down that is key to making a team and not, and Perriman has gotten plenty of time to know the playbook inside and out.....Always a silver lining to a bad situation....

I would like to see him play a series or two this week, if Morre, Wallace, and Aiken are good to go, he needs to work, as i see those three right now as the starters, and to get work with our awesome TE corp...

Yes Aiken and Wallace are starters, at least for now, but Moore will need to put on a good showing to earn a starting position as a rookie. Most likely that last starting gig will go to either Butler, Matthews, or Campanaro. IHMO that is the current pecking order.

I expect Moore to get lots of reps to see what he can do, but it will take some time for him to learn all the routes and get the timing down.

It will be interesting though because once SSSr returns and Perriman that whole depth chart at WR will likely change.

i should have it made it more clear, as i see Moore as the 2nd best deep threat on the depth chart, until Perriman shows....That kid Dobson we picked up didn't look bad, and he is another good siezed WR....Camp is made of glass, so who knows how long he can stay on the field, and i am a Matthews fan...

  3. On one hand i get he has plenty of games under his belt, but on the other, it is so important to get in tune with this WR corp, as we don't know where we really stand aside from Aiken, and Wallace, we have many spots up for grabs, with SSS return to from being a unknown....Practice reps as we all know is not the same as game reps, and then real season reps....I feel he needs the work in pre-season games to start getting in sync with his WR corp, as the speed ramps up a notch from practice to pre-season games....JMO...

  4. Judon ,Dixon, and Hnery were my picks after the draft, as far as mid to high drafted players to make a impact, but so far almost all who played Thursday really looked great. This rook class by far has exceeded my expectation, as the transition from college to pro is a lot to take on...Also helped with some guys being out, that they all got a ton of reps in OTA's and camp....And the 2nd and 3 year players are looking good....Will be some tough cuts this year....JMO....

  5. I wonder how big a threat Alex Lewis is to take that starting LG spot. Urschel must want to get back out there ASAP and defend his starting role.

Loved Lewis when we drafted him, he plays with swag, and a serious attitude....My thought is he will be groomed for RT, if the FO feels Wagner will bolt for the money next year...And i would have no problem with Stanley and Lewis being our bookends for the future....

  6. Orr won't cost us much, as he hasn't gotten enough PT, and if he wins the job one solid year, would i think allows us a retain him, of course if he has a insane year, then who knows....Having said that we do have some aging players who might retire, ans open up more cap space.....For me we have to have a solid Lber core, and we just can;t have the attitude everyone is replaceable, comes a point and time, when we have found a solid player, we have to invest in them...

  7. Said it the other day, was so happy the rooks played the way they did, as well as last years class, mainly was seeing how Carl Davis, Waller, and Boyle, and none of those guys disappointed me....My god if all our TE get healthy, and even though Boyle is out 10 games, this is a sick TE group we have...And yes Boyle is worth waiting for, and in fact it probably works out best, with so many TE's we have right now, as we don't have to make hard decisions as who to keep and not keep....JMO....

  8. We don't need to worry about punt returns because we have Webby and SSS to take care of it if need be. As for kick returns how many opportunities will we really have for kickoff returns? Put in one of the RBs for kick return duties. No need for a super specialist in either spots imo. Save the roster spot for depth on the offense or defense.

A lot of teams PR/KR looked sloppy, i'm not worried about it, as it''s to be expected with a lot of guys trying to make a play knowing they get so few touches...I expect it to be cleaned up, and look better next week...

  9. I honestly think the rise is injuries have occurred from the collective bargain agreement to do away with two a days....Players just aren't as conditioned to the real game hits, because they have to be so causes during camp....I don't remember so many players over the past few years who have been injured and lost for the season early in the season, as i have over the last 5-6 years....When that kid knocked Brown on his butt he felt bad, but back in the day, that's what coaches want to see, the ones who can take the hits, and the ones who can give them....The N.F.L has gotten soft IMO....Just to old school smash mouth football, where you go all out during camp, so truly the best are ready for the real games....
