I would like to see Oz bring in a vet ILBer, we don't have much behind Smith, and CJ.....And if Arthur Brown is struggling at ILBer move him outside and see if his speed and quickness fits better as a pass rusher, and who can cover the screens....JMO...

Extend Flacco, and get Yanda and KO resigned....unlikely, but that would be sweet....

This year i don;t see to many camp bodies, every player on the 90 man roster has a legit shot at making the 53 man roster or PS...WR we are stacked, CB's we are stacked, Safeties we are stacked, O-linemen we are stacked, D-Linemen we are stacked, RB's we are stacked, TE we are stacked......Only position where we aren't stacked is ILBer....

The Forsett deal was sweet, but if Lewis pans out, his 3 yr/5.4 mil deal could be a real steal...Since all 3 years are not guaranteed....

Training camp is where you win jobs, and PT....Whoever comes out on top will have earned it....

SSS training regiment has kept him physically in great shape on the other side of 30, I really see no reason for his play to drop off, unless Trestman calls plays that target the other WR's more this year....There is no doubt we drafted for the future, and the players entering their 3rd year are expected to up their games....I think the FO and coaches were thinking when we signed him he would be done after his first year, and didn't see the numbers he put up last year coming....And i honestly think had SSS had a average year and released, we would have re-signed Torrey, but SSS play allowed us to move on, and commit to the cheaper youth movement...jmo...

Don't sleep on Melvin, he was thrown into the fire last year during our playoff run, and played well in the playoffs....I really want him to win the #4 CB spot, his size, and tackling ability would be huge for us....And with today's WR's being bigger and faster, the CB's have to keep up with that....He is my sleeper in camp this year to really shine....

We might also get some extra cap money to find one, as i think we get some cap relief today for releasing JJ a few months ago...

I wouldn't mind seeing Arthur Brown get reps at OLBer, with his quickness and speed, he could be a decent pass rusher...Could also see Means get reps as a pass rushing OLBer instead of 260 pound DE, yet he would have the versatility to play along the D-Line like McPhee did when he was converted to a OLBer...

Getting drafted by the Ravens or signed as a FA is like going to Military school, bad behavior is not tolerated, high expectations, and high standards.....No free rides you earn what get....

I expect to see a totally different Elam this year, when he came in, he was basically handed the starting job, now he will be fighting for PT.....

So does Oz take a gamble and get him signed now to a extension, or wait, and if he has a great season lose him to FA???

I'm being cautious going into this season, remember we went 8-8 after the SB, we are a much younger team this year, than years past.....Yes we are probably more talented at some positions, but nothing can replace veteran play and leadership when it comes down to crunch time....We will be tested straight out of the gates with our schedule, and the first half will really let us know what kind of team we have...I think we are a playoff team, but not sure we are a SB caliber team...But i'm optimistic...

11-5 would be a great season, but realistically i'm looking at 10-6....I see most of the damage coming in the first half of the season, with our brutal start....

I'm not a fan of replacing Zuttah anytime soon, he has been extremely solid, and has a done a great job of QBing the O-Line....Makes more sense of grooming Urschel for OG with KO's future up in the air...

It's been a while since we have had so many positions up for grabs that offer real PT for players....IMO i really feel the competition this year will be stick out more than in years past....

We have the size and speed at the WR position where we can play the tall game, or short and quick one......

At this point we are signing depth with our top 3 in place....

not sure Vaughn is more talented than Melvin, with a full set of OTA's and camp, my money is on Melvin getting the #4 spot....His size is huge as well...

My feeling is they might think Tray will need more time to develop....
