  1. The option of course is to carry 6 WR and 5 TE, as today's TE's really are big bodied WR's.....Many of them have better 40 times than a lot of WR's these days.....Just like we are starting to see 210 lb SS play LBer in some packages to cover those TE's, otherwise they just blow past the 250 plus lb LBers....
  2. I'm not sure Camp is tradeable or if we would get much value, as he has only shown he is made of glass so far, and draft picks are gold for teams, and not sure teams would be willing to make a trade for him....Our roster is made up of proven vets, proven vets coming back from injuries, and a lot of young talent that has potential...And these young players from last year who were forced into action due to injuries certainly will be so much ahead in year 2 or 3, if they didn't get all that PT,so that bolds well for us, this years class was insane seeing we walked away with 11 draft picks, and most in the 4 round, so would be hard pressed for them not to make the team or hit IR.....This will be a tough camp for coaches to make final cut decisions IMO....
  3. I think Perriman should hit the PUP list, i think he needs a little ore time for that t heal, and depending on how well the WR's do, i could see 7 on the roster...But honestly until we see them in pads, and full contact it's hard to really gauge the roster, as i see so much young potential, as well as we need to see where the guys coming back from injury are at.....
  4. they will keep 5 TE, but not sure all will be on the 53 man roster, i could see Waller on IR to protect him, as Watson is pretty much a loaner for 2 years max, as his age plays a role, as well as SSS at WR, we could protect a young WR with potential to be ready to take a spot next year when SSS will probably retire....I see a lot of young players who will be groomed to take spots for vets who are getting very close to retiring, or released due to salary cap and age next year....Over-all this team is very young....
  5. his size and speed is such a advantage, and if he can make the transition, he could be a beast..............
  6. I expect Wallace to flourish, he has a huge chip on his shoulder, after 2 failed chances with Miami and MN.....Plus he is back in the AFCN, and truthfully will have a QB who can throw the deep ball in Flacco...So until Perriman gets on the field, Wallace, and Moore should see some opportunities with the deep ball, which will force defenses to stop playing 8 in the box, and then will give Aiken and SSS, and the TE more room to work with, with the underneath routes...
  7. I think the theme for this year with all the talent is get the ball down field, so i do think the WR's will see a lot of balls, and Flacco's strength is getting the ball down field....JMO......
  8. IMO...Aiken has proven to be a very reliable WR, he had some drops, but seemed to always make up for them in those games....Very tough, and not afraid of crossing routes....Now if his fellow UCF guy in Perriman can get his health issues behind, this could be a very formidable trio in Aiken, SSS,and Perriman, and sprinkle in some Wallace and should make for a sold top 4 WR crew...
  9. PUP wouldn't be bad move for Perriman
  10. Our secondary will be better if Suggs comes back to form, and Doom can go back to being a situational pass rushing OLBer.....if our front 7 puts pressure on the QB, the secondary will be a lot better across the board....Watched to many games last year, especially the Seahawks game, when Wilson had forever to throw the ball....You can't ask the CB's to cover guys when QB's have all day to find a open WR's....
  11. Without weapons teams had 8 in the box all day, now that we have legit WR's, TE's, and RB's who can catch, will make it easier...The key is he has to make them pay for doing so, then they won't be lining 8 in the box as much.....
  12. I think we will continue to play a 3-4 and flex 4-3, as you have to have the ability to do both, depending on the opponent.....But our base will stay a 3-4. as B.Will is a legit NT, and you have to have one if you play a 3-4, as a true NT demands double teaming....
  13. Brandon Williams is a true NT, flanked with Jernnigan, and Guy is a top 3 man front IMO, and rotate them with Henry, Davis, Kafusi, is pretty stout...At OLBer you have Suggs, Doom, Z.Smith,Judon, and Ochi, with KC having the ability to play inside, and out gives the defensive schemes the ability to be a lot more attacking, so at the end of the day, it really is on Pee's play calling....
  14. we have always played a base 3-4 and also a flex 4-3.....The reason behind drafting and signing these Pass rushers\OLBers is because the FO knows Suggs and Doom are on the back end of their careers, and now is the time to start grooming replacements....The pass rushers we drafted and signed as UDFA for the most part have the ability to play with their hand in the dirt or as a stand up OLBer.....
  15. With so much talent i wonder how many guys we protect via IR from stubbing their toe, especially at OLBer/Pass rusher, as we all know Suggs and Doom are at the back ends of their careers....
  16. very happy we got through OTA's and mandatory mini camp without any serious injures....Shows that the guys where in good shape coming in....
  17. IMO, I think Lewis could be the backup LT, and very possible starting LG....
  18. every pick, and every signing is a risk, and we took the risk with Monroe, and he has been injured for a better part of his short stay in Baltimore, and we certainly haven't gotten our monies worth with him, so who better to replace him than the #6 pick in the draft......Top 10 picks are supposed to be plug and play players, so FO got more cap space by this move, that will allow us to be creative for the rest of the season, if injuries hit us again....and get some extensions done....
  19. From what i have heard, Lewis could be a legit backup, and IMO has a shot at the starting LG spot.....
  20. IMO...I think Stanley will do well, but the sleeper in all this IMO is Lewis, he has a mean streak in him, and i think could fill in at LT if needed, as i see him having a great shot at starting at LG as of now....The money we save by unloading Monroe could go towards getting Tucker, and B.Will signed to long term deals, and still have enough to find a vet ILBer if the guys we have don't look good....JMO.....
  21. Now lets get B.Will signed to a extension......
  22. One player i am pretty pumped to watch is Lewis, can he be the mauler KO was....From what i heard he is Mauler by nature as well.....That's a big hole to fill, so that should be interesting to see how it plays out.....
  23. If Dr.. Andrews says he should be good to go, i will take that over anybody who wants to bash him......
  24. It would be nice if he is placed on the PUP list so he can get on the field later in the year if he doesn't require reconstructive surgery.....
  25. Webb, played Safety in college, and as along as he has been on the team, he understands this defense, on top of that he did finish the season playing Safety....I think he will not only make the back end better, it should prolong his career....I love the move IMO...But knowing Webb is 30 and Weddle 31 we want guys ready to step in when they move on...JMO
