  1. People just don't give Flacco enough credit, which he is okay with, but he has had 4 OC's, once he has weapons, like Torrey, and RR, they both are gone via FA, and suspension, then the slew of injuries around him...But what they can't deny is the fact he has won much more than he has lost, and obviosuly his winning percentage for road playoff games is off the charts, and at the end of the day, he shows up for those big games....Just get us to the dance and we will have a chance...
  2. I think we have to get Ochi on IR by end of camp, worth protecting for next year IMO......
  3. That was the silver lining from last season, the rookies, and 2nd year players got real game experience due to all the injuries, and that is why i am very optimistic about this year.....I also think Judon, and Henry will make plays for us, and will become the real deal over the next few years.....
  4. i'm not going to hate on players who go for the money, as players usually only have that one chance at the big contract, and if you think about it, they got the big money for what they did during their rookie contracts, which pretty much evens itself out, considering their is a rookie cap.....I've always said, this organizations had made a lot of players multi-millionaires, and that is how Oz should be judged, making mid round picks into big money players.....
  5. IMO, the deep ball shouldn't be a concern with so many WR's in camp, it's the route running that really matters, as in a game you might get 4-5 deep balls, but the mid range routes are the key to a solid passing game, we all know Joe can go deep, and we have seen Wallace run deep routes in camp....Moving the chains with completing those 3rd and 7's are key, and having guys who can run the deep route will open those mid range routes available, which we didn't have last year, and why teams played 8 in the box knowing we had no deep threat....
  6. I'm old school, you practice how you play, and i am not in favor of players pulling up in practice, because it really doesn't do them any favors, when the games count and the opponents are coming at you at full speed...Probably why we had 20 guys hit IR last year.....I see so many video's of guys pulling up, and we wonder why some of the guys can;t tackle, because they don't go all out in practice....JMO....
  7. The pre-season games will weed out the depth chart, it's when you go up against another team, is when you can tell if a player looks as good in games, as he does in practice going up against our own guys and knowing the plays....
  8. I said it before Lewis is a beast who plays with a attitude....The great thing about Lewis is he is not stranger to LT...I could actually see Lewis, and Stanley being our Bookend Tackles in the not so distant future......
  9. Except half of ours are suspended. Good point, but with Watson,Crock,Pitta, Brown, and Max, then Waller and Boyle will make 6 when they come off suspension...
  10. Looks like the Lions lost their TE, and we have a lot of depth at TE, wonder if the Oz might make a trade for a draft pick.....
  11. B.Will is a must, been saying it since the off-season started last year....NT is the key to any successful 3-4 D....Pit hasn't been as good since Casey Hampton left, they are not a dime a dozen....B.Will demands a double team as he pushes the line back, and opens up gaps for stunts or LBers hitting the hole....
  12. All bubble players are auditioning for other teams, and they know a strong camp could lead them to another team either by trade, or getting picked up if they get cut.......
  13. i am rooting for Elam and Brooks, i feel they are both talented but more time to "get it"....Always loved Brook's speed, and i feel both are physical enough to drop down in the box.......
  14. if one of our guys gets hurt, i could see him coming back, just right now they feel he won;t be ready for a few weeks, and we can't afford to lose that time on a player who isn't ready....never say never....
  15. I wouldn't mind it if the midfield logo was in Black....
  16. Technically if Suggs passed, he could practice, but the coaches are being smart by keeping him away from that....but they need to chain him do a bench, because Suggs is a hard man to keep down,,,,So impressed he passed when others couldn't who were healthy.....Beast mode coming to a theater near you...
  17. The good thing for the guys who are dinged up a bit, is it is early in camp, and plenty of time to get healed up......Very anxious to see the young guys play in pre-season, as they will get most of the reps....Good for Orr to be beasting so early, he wants that ILBer spot...He had a strong OTA's, and has seemed to carry over...But KC playing inside is also good to see....
  18. Well all i got to say the Ravens do their home work when drafting players...Stanley a lot of people were on the fence with, but he is not a only a good person, and as Yanda says keeps his head down and mouth shut, and listen and learn....Now Joey Bosa is just to good for the NFL, as he won't report to camp.....We got a player who knows the its a huge privilege to play in the league, took care of hos contract, missed no OTA's, and ever sand in a chicken suit....gotta love it...
  19. Thats why stats are for contracts, His W-L record as at top of the list, his playoff wins is at the top, his playoff road wins is at the top....When it matters he has delivered more than he hasn't....
  20. Happy they signed a ILBer,......
  21. With key vets coming off injuries, and with a lot of young potential, this camp to me is really wide open with the exception of a handful of positions....Another reason why a Jake Long would sign, as he does have a legit shot at winning a spot as the the first next man up if someone struggles or gets hurt...I see guys like Z.Smith, Judon, and a few other OLBer really getting more PT, and being groomed to take over for Suggs, and Doom in the next year or 2.....Camp will sort it all out, but i see a lot of serious competition going on with a lot of players who might be thought as camp bodies, having legit shots at making the team or PS....JMO...
  22. I am pretty high on Lewis, he would have been drafted higher if he didn't get into a little trouble at Neb, a lot of the analyst thought we got a steal when we got him, and i tend to agree....but we all know, we will know so much more when the pads come on and they go at it at full speed, then to go up against other teams in pre-season...But i say he either makes the 53 man roster, or finds his way on IR to protect him for next year.....
  23. If he passes his physical he will be a great addition, because i see Stanley, and Lewis as our bookends for the future....
  24. Every year, every team faces question marks, as teams lose players due to the cap, retirement, or trades....If Stanley struggles i see TE help, until he can get up to speed....We also have cap space to sign a vet LT, if he really struggles, but to be fair he will have the growing pains that all rookies go through when facing proven pass rushers......My biggest concern is ILBer, and its not just about who starts, but the depth.....
