  1. We cut Sam Brown and signed CB Carrington Byndom....I can only think he is brought in for his 4.35 40 speed, has a lot of weakenss, not known as a strong tackler....Not sure why we wouldn't give Melvin another shot, he brought size and toughness......
  2. Please no, SSS is coming off a serious injury and i don't want him to get hurt from PR duty, and Webb keeping him healthy for a full season is going to be tough enough....Camp cuts will produce a valid PR if the guys we have don't step up.....Heck, give Jacoby a call....
  3. Seems like we are getting healthier by the day......Suggs, SSS, Gilmore, Canaday, Moore....Keep getting help fellas we need all hands on deck this year....
  4. If he passes the condition test before camp ends, then get him in, SSS plays a entirely different game, he is our mid route WR, Perriman is to open the lid on the backend, which will free up more space for SSS....If he gets medical clearance, no sense in waiting, play him ASAP, we drafted him for reason, so lets get him in there......
  5. IMO, Perriman might not be getting the physical reps, but he sure is more than likely getting the playbook down, and i don't see a big issue with Flacco and Perriman getting in Sync once he gets on the field....If he knows his routes and the playbook, then it's just a matter of Flacco getting his speed dialed in, and then he just throws to spots, where a WR is supposed to be....Like most players tell you, all have the physical tools, its getting the mental tools down that is key to making a team and not, and Perriman has gotten plenty of time to know the playbook inside and out.....Always a silver lining to a bad situation....
  6. Butler has really upped his game, and i think he will see more PT this year.....
  7. Translate all these nice plays into the games.....The youngsters are really shining in camp, and in the pre-season so far, future really looks good....
  8. Yes Aiken and Wallace are starters, at least for now, but Moore will need to put on a good showing to earn a starting position as a rookie. Most likely that last starting gig will go to either Butler, Matthews, or Campanaro. IHMO that is the current pecking order. I expect Moore to get lots of reps to see what he can do, but it will take some time for him to learn all the routes and get the timing down. It will be interesting though because once SSSr returns and Perriman that whole depth chart at WR will likely change. i should have it made it more clear, as i see Moore as the 2nd best deep threat on the depth chart, until Perriman shows....That kid Dobson we picked up didn't look bad, and he is another good siezed WR....Camp is made of glass, so who knows how long he can stay on the field, and i am a Matthews fan...
  9. I would like to see him play a series or two this week, if Morre, Wallace, and Aiken are good to go, he needs to work, as i see those three right now as the starters, and to get work with our awesome TE corp...
  10. On one hand i get he has plenty of games under his belt, but on the other, it is so important to get in tune with this WR corp, as we don't know where we really stand aside from Aiken, and Wallace, we have many spots up for grabs, with SSS return to from being a unknown....Practice reps as we all know is not the same as game reps, and then real season reps....I feel he needs the work in pre-season games to start getting in sync with his WR corp, as the speed ramps up a notch from practice to pre-season games....JMO...
  11. Moore, and Waller have the deep threat ability we need, and i still believe in Perriman, and hopes he really gets back at full strength, and gets on the field, and does what we drafted him to do....As long as he is a Raven i will support him, and root for him...
  12. Judon ,Dixon, and Hnery were my picks after the draft, as far as mid to high drafted players to make a impact, but so far almost all who played Thursday really looked great. This rook class by far has exceeded my expectation, as the transition from college to pro is a lot to take on...Also helped with some guys being out, that they all got a ton of reps in OTA's and camp....And the 2nd and 3 year players are looking good....Will be some tough cuts this year....JMO....
  13. I kind of like the idea of putting Dixon back there.....
  14. He will at some point need to get reps in a pre-season game, just like Flacco, they really need to see if their Knee in Flaccos's case, and Sugg's Achilles can hold up against live action.....Also i think the FO did a great job of drafting and bringing in pass rushers, for the just in case......
  15. They say the more you can do, the better shot it makes you making the team, Brooks on paper is a FS, but played CB for us last year, his speed was the big thing, as he could keep up with WR's....Yes he has shown more pop after the Carolina game, but Elam will fight for a spot as well....With Kendrick missing time, who knows, maybe both make it....
  16. Loved Lewis when we drafted him, he plays with swag, and a serious attitude....My thought is he will be groomed for RT, if the FO feels Wagner will bolt for the money next year...And i would have no problem with Stanley and Lewis being our bookends for the future....
  17. I am rooting for Brooks and Elam, as Weddle and Webb are on the other side of 30, if these guys can be who we thought they were, it will only makes us better down the road....Also Webb is known to miss a game or 3 a year, so it would be great to be able to insert one of those guys n, and feel confident they can get it done....
  18. So we have young inexperienced guys, so we sign another inexperienced guy...Doesn't make a lot of sense, but i guess at this point of camp why not, and if things get back, we hit the first and last camp cuts to see who is out there....
  19. I like this: Seven injured Ravens returned to Monday's practice: LB Terrell Suggs, TE Crockett Gillmore, WR Michael Campanaro, DB-LB Anthony Levine, DL Carl Davis, LB Chris Carter, CB Maurice Canady, just want to get Moore back, need him to get reps in pre-season games....
  20. Sizz was hurt first week of the season, so he has almost a year to heal, so no surprise he was first back....But he will no doubt raise the level of play being out there from the youngsters......
  21. Orr won't cost us much, as he hasn't gotten enough PT, and if he wins the job one solid year, would i think allows us a retain him, of course if he has a insane year, then who knows....Having said that we do have some aging players who might retire, ans open up more cap space.....For me we have to have a solid Lber core, and we just can;t have the attitude everyone is replaceable, comes a point and time, when we have found a solid player, we have to invest in them...
  22. Said it the other day, was so happy the rooks played the way they did, as well as last years class, mainly was seeing how Carl Davis, Waller, and Boyle, and none of those guys disappointed me....My god if all our TE get healthy, and even though Boyle is out 10 games, this is a sick TE group we have...And yes Boyle is worth waiting for, and in fact it probably works out best, with so many TE's we have right now, as we don't have to make hard decisions as who to keep and not keep....JMO....
  23. A lot of teams PR/KR looked sloppy, i'm not worried about it, as it''s to be expected with a lot of guys trying to make a play knowing they get so few touches...I expect it to be cleaned up, and look better next week...
  24. Some good, some bad, but this years rookie class looked very good for their first games, for the ones that played, and the play of last years class played like i expected them to, after getting a lot of snaps last year due to all the injuries....Very optimistic for this years team.....
  25. I honestly think the rise is injuries have occurred from the collective bargain agreement to do away with two a days....Players just aren't as conditioned to the real game hits, because they have to be so causes during camp....I don't remember so many players over the past few years who have been injured and lost for the season early in the season, as i have over the last 5-6 years....When that kid knocked Brown on his butt he felt bad, but back in the day, that's what coaches want to see, the ones who can take the hits, and the ones who can give them....The N.F.L has gotten soft IMO....Just to old school smash mouth football, where you go all out during camp, so truly the best are ready for the real games....
