  2. Mosley gets snubbed.

    1. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

He was consistently better than Donald and came on earlier than Donald. The only thing Donald has on him are those 17 tackles for a loss they're raving about. Mosley was the overall better player.

I'm fine really. Well keep playing in the playoffs while the rams still keep losing

  3. I can't even begin to describe how disappointed I am in this organization right now. At least during the Cam years we were making the playoffs. But to keep Pees here after the defensive debacle of his entire tenure, now with the season over, cannot be excused.

    1. jazz1988

      jazz1988

I think we have to take in consideration that firing Pees doesn't mean everything will get better. There's high chance that everything will get worst and it's not like The Ravens have bunch of positon coaches that have alot of defensive coordinator experience. It was major risk when they fired Cam but honestly firing Pees only assures pleasure to Ravens fans more so to winning games.

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Firing him gives us a chance to see what any promotion from within can do BEFORE the run on coaches that occurs each end of season. We will then be ready to make a move if necessary. Firing him shows that the FO is not actually clueless as well. It can't get any worse.

    3. jazz1988

      jazz1988

I doubt Harbaugh mindset is beyound this season at the moment. To toy with coordinators just to see what you have isn't always a good idea. If The Ravens fired Pees now or after this season i doubt any potential coordinator wouldn't want to be apart of organization. The Ravens have strong track record when it comes to defensive coordinators getting jobs else where as a head coaches and etc.

  4. AFCN all lose Week 1. We are no worse off than before Thursday's thromping. In fact, we are better off. We've seen our weaknesses and clearly, the FO is taking steps to address them. Everyone calm down.

    1. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Absolutely it would have served us well to get a game up. Still, we are not trailing anyone in our division. We are no worse off.

We lost to Denver. They lost to Tennessee, Miami & Chicago. 'Nuff said.

  9. Every year at this time: The Boards go crazy as people leave. NFLN declares the Ravens done. They've lost too many pieces. ESPN says we're no longer a playoff team. Then, Ozzie does his thing :)

      JoeyFlex5

ravens fan sing doom and gloom more than the talking heads, i swear, every single year we do this, and a majority of the fans act like the eagles fans are acting this year. have you all not learned yet?

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

I just read we're expected to have 12 picks. Dang! Can't wait for the draft.

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

i have a feeling we are absolutely gonna nail this draft, and with our cap situation looking solid for next year i think we will be set for another 4-5 year run at bringin home some more hardware

  10. Vote for Tuck for NSN Moment of the Week!

    1. Hardbaugh

      Hardbaugh

      Definitely deserves it! 61 yards...WOW!

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Absolutely! I was holding my breath until the refs hands went up! lol

    3. Hardbaugh

      Hardbaugh

Probably the last 10-15 yards or so I was thinking it was going to hit the goalpost. Ravens are killing my blood pressure this season. ;-)

  11. Not looking good for the O's. :(

    1. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

It's a shame that Machado, Wieters and Davis aren't playing. We have to have faith that Buck can turn things around.

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

I'm hoping still but it is a lot to ask at this point.

    3. Nightman

      Nightman

At least the O's fans don't have a fire drill during the 9th inning when its tied like the Gnats fans who are the east coast version of the Dodgers.

  12. Getting the Ravens here on TV again this week! Awesome!

    1. Nightman

      Nightman

Unlike last week, it will televised in the DC market, but all Ravens fans in the DC/Nova market are still welcome to watch it the meetup group at Rock Bottom Arlingto in the Ballston Commons Mall with $2 a can Natty Bohs.

On 506sports we are stuck with the Jets Buffalo game simple because I am in NJ.

  13. Merry Christmas to all! Hope we can sweep the Steelers! And no, I don't care if we take one step lower draft pick because of it lol

    1. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

But the Jets HAVE TO WIN against the Pats or this is irrelevant.

Still means we swept them and they don't clinch in our House.

  14. *sigh* Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy. Can we manage to not have an arrest for the next 10 days? Good grief.

    1. display name

      display name

Hopefully at TC the players will be too busy for this kind of garbage.

    2. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

Well, display name, all the arrests have been outside Maryland, except for Smith's, and all occurred during a break in training, so I'd imagine this trend ends.

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

I'm hoping they're too exhausted for shenanigans during TC.

  15. Happy November!!!

Yes... Happy November! The team usually plays its best ball around these times and the weather is perfect in South Florida.

  16. Just dropping in to gauge the panic level now that Jimmy is out for the season

    1. Alaska Alaska!

      Alaska Alaska!

With Jimmy done...it's up to the offense to keep us in the hunt.

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

That's going to be tough unless someone other than Smith Sr steps up. Daniels does all he can but he isn't the Daniels he used to be. Time for Torrey to prove he wants to be a Raven next season.

    3. Alaska Alaska!

      Alaska Alaska!

As long as Camp stays healthy, we can sustain some long drives and score!

  17. On the eve of the game, I have one burning question, do we still have a rivalry with the Titans?

    1. jazz1988

      jazz1988

Yes atleast back in the day we did but it's probably no where near like it used to be

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Yeah I knew we did back in the day. Just wasn't sure how much of one it might still be.

    3. stampedehero

      stampedehero

No When Eddie George could not be embarressed anymore it ended.

  18. The hands assessment concerned me about Perriman so wasn't a big fan of that pick. For ESPN etc to already label him a bust though -I'm ticked. Go Perriman and light 'em up in 2015!

    1. Alaska Alaska!

      Alaska Alaska!

I'm taking the "issue with drops" ordeal with a grain of salt. Perry had reduced his drops as his final season progressed; plus Andre Johnson was criticized for the same thing when he was being drafted.

    2. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

what makes me comfortable, is knowing that he naturally gets his hands out there and on the ball, his hands itself has flawed form, nothing that cant be coached up, if he was body catching, however, i would be concerned

    3. raven22nation

      raven22nation

perriman was catching balls from a sub-mediocre QB at UCF, that couldve had an effect on drops during his collegiate years. Balls to high,low,ect... He handled well while he was there, now hes with Flacco.. His hands wont be a problem with some concentration drills. Hell prove those doubters wrong

  19. Hope everyone is prepared for yet another defensive nightmare next season. FO has lost it. Letting Austin & now Monachino walk to keep Mr. Mediocre around. smh

    1. Ravenseconbeast
    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Until he proves different that is who he is. He's done nothing here to improve anything & his defenses have not lived up to potential one single season.

    3. gabrielgrissom

      gabrielgrissom

If he doesnt curl up in his shell in coverage next year ... Keep pees ... But i cant trust the dude i mean he will have one terrible game then call a tremendous one right after

  20. C'mon Ozzie! Bring Ed Reed back home!

    1. swiftsilent1

      swiftsilent1

agreed...snatch Reed back up and let him tutor these young DBs

    2. redravenfan

      redravenfan

Ed Reed coaching that would rock

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Absolutely! I don't care if the man doesn't see a snap. He can coach up our young safeties and retire a Raven like it should be.

  21. Wow. We lost Austin. We lost Monachino. Now the man Ozzie swore had a place here when he retired, we let go to the Bills. But, we still have Mr. Mediocre. Just great.

      Militant X 1

      That's the way it is!

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Yep. Just like our defense has been sub par since 2012. That's the way it is. Hoping I'm wrong and don't have to read all the excuses for Pees again this time next year.

    3. Militant X 1

      Militant X 1

Excuses will always be made in here for this or for that.

  22. That Pees is still here this morning tells me all I need to know about this team. They've flat out given up.

personally I have much more questions to Trestman

    1. jazz1988

      jazz1988

just about all of them was drafted way before the Ravens were on the clock in the draft but i can't wait too see Micheal Campanaro play against the Miami

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Most of them but not all of them. I've liked what I've seen from Camp so far but still not going to be that guy we're missing.

Just frustrating more than anything to watch every other team manage to snag one while we just, don't. Like, even try lol

    3. jazz1988

      jazz1988

I think if Micheal Campanaro was healthy then he would probably be in the same conversation as the other rookie talented receivers. I hated that we didn't draft a receiver earlier but i definitely understand why

  23. If Pitta plays this year, I will spend the entire time petrified for him

    1. JimmyBlack

      JimmyBlack

I don't see him making it through the first 3 weeks of camp.

    2. ALPHA

Money talks. He's rolling the dice against his health but it's his decision.

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Yes I know it's his choice. Won't stop me from cringing every time he gets hit.

  24. Don't care who it is but listen up NFL teams! Save us from the G.O.A.T. talk about this cheating Patriots club! Please!

    1. stampedehero
    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

lol They're all going on and on about how this NE team could be the Greatest of All Time.

    3. polynesian15

      polynesian15

Like I said somewhere else on this forum, I'll spend the remainder of this season focusing all my energy on rooting against NE. They simply must not repeat, I'd take ANY team over them (Steelers and Bengals included)!
