  7. That Washington team is abominable! RGIII was getting slammed and they left him in there to take the shots! In Preseason! Now he is injured. Grrrrrr!

      Cousins > Bob3

I agree Cousins is greater than RG3. Cousins has started less than a seasons worth of games. Hard to say he can't be there long term answer. He probably isn't though.

He's more suited to be a drop back QB and a much better fit for Jay Gruden

  9. Well, Rex is still being Rex. smh

      YYZ66

If anything, Rex is certainly entertaining. lol

He IS entertaining. I think he is a fairly bad HC but a great DC. Only my opinion though.

It'll be interesting to see if the Bills end up being a dysfunctional mess too.

Yeah hopefully the Orioles can string together some wins and the Blue Jays and Yankees string together some losses lol

      to retain leads.

  11. One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky

The optimist sees it half full, the pessimist sees it half empty, but the opportunist sees it as a way to quench his thirst, and drinks it!

  12. Happy 4th Ravens Nation! Happy Saturday to those not in the States!

  13. It's July...not too much longer now....

  14. Warren Sapp on Ray Rice: "This is as black & white as it gets & really hits home for me because I have 3 daughters." This just in: "Warren Sapp just charged with 3 counts of domestic violence against his GF" Gotta love hypocrites.

Could never stand Sapp. Hes not the only one though. Alot of the player that commented they took offense to what Ray Rice did, arent perfect people neither.

@edreed2o It's okay not to be perfect. Just be careful not to try to act like you are when judging others.

  16. I was going through our roster at WR, and I really like most of them. Will be sad to see some of them go.

I agree, we are pretty deep and very young.

  18. On paper right now: Offense = potent. Defense = stifling. ST = masterful. Let's hope it all transfers to the field!

      RavensFanMania

Potent, Stifling, Masterful! That's a great Ravens Tag Line

I need to see something solid from a returner to be totally satisfied there but the rest looks really good. Need Wagner and Jimmy to rebound from their injuries and play strong.

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

True about the returning duties but I think we have some guys on the roster who will be more than adequate there. Like I said: on paper. Just hoping it all show up on Sundays!

  19. For those who wanted us to give Gregory a shot - he failed to make it through practice today.

    1. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

i had a feeling about him man. his immaturity almost comes off as a mental disability, he is not ready for football and he never will be. on the other hand i think DGB will turn out fine, he seems like a good kid who just made some mistakes

  20. Thank you Ed Reed. It will be so appropriate to honor #20 during our 20th season. We will get to hear Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed! one more time.

  21. The hands assessment concerned me about Perriman so wasn't a big fan of that pick. For ESPN etc to already label him a bust though -I'm ticked. Go Perriman and light 'em up in 2015!

    1. Alaska Alaska!

      Alaska Alaska!

I'm taking the "issue with drops" ordeal with a grain of salt. Perry had reduced his drops as his final season progressed; plus Andre Johnson was criticized for the same thing when he was being drafted.

    2. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

what makes me comfortable, is knowing that he naturally gets his hands out there and on the ball, his hands itself has flawed form, nothing that cant be coached up, if he was body catching, however, i would be concerned

    3. raven22nation

      raven22nation

perriman was catching balls from a sub-mediocre QB at UCF, that couldve had an effect on drops during his collegiate years. Balls to high,low,ect... He handled well while he was there, now hes with Flacco.. His hands wont be a problem with some concentration drills. Hell prove those doubters wrong

  22. So which player is taking Ngata's place on the ticket?

    1. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

i would like harbs on it honestly, he deserves it, that man is without a question one of the best HC's in the league and is in the argument for the face of the franchise

    2. Alaska Alaska!

      Alaska Alaska!

I truly... (and not in a "drink purple koolaid" kind of way) believe that Harbs can get us to 4 championships as a franchise. He's getting two more rings, guaranteed!

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

lol It's all good. Who replaces him on the field is a relevant question too!

  23. Alright, so last year the Steelers finished above us in the Division, neither of us made the playoffs and they picked before us. This year they won the freakin' Division and are STILL picking before us. Somewhere it isn't right lol

    1. RavensFanMania

      RavensFanMania

that's what happens when you beat the snot out of them in the playoffs!

    2. Rants N Ravens

      Rants N Ravens

Last year they picked ahead of us because of a terrible rule that says if two teams finish with the same record, the tie breaker is strength of schedule.

This year it's because we kicked their butts and went further in the playoffs. I'm much more OK with them picking ahead of us this year. ;)

    3. RavensFanMania

      RavensFanMania

I'm also ok with the strength of schedule rule if the teams hadn't played one another. However, if the teams played each other they should use head to head as the barometer.

  24. From ESPN: "The 2015 NFL WR draft class may do more than just match last season's historic group -- it may eclipse it altogether:" Just putting it out there.

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

@joeyflex It's hard to see anyone being better than Odell. He really had a historic rookie season. I agree that that this draft has more depth, but I'd take Jordan Matthews over anyone in the second this year.

    2. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

i was obsessed with jordan matthews last year, but i certainly like both dorsett and agholor more. and that ones up for debate but man amari cooper is just so good, he is like the cj mosley of wr's, football just comes so naturally for him and there just isnt one area where he doesnt have elite talent(maybe besides his height)

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Thanks guys for all the opinions! I don't follow college football so I do love hearing everyone's thoughts on the draft prospects.

  25. Whew! Didn't take as long as I thought and I come back to Matt Schaub?

    1. hn68wb4

      hn68wb4

i remember Matt Schaub used to give our defense fits a couple years back for whatever reason. I don't mind the signing. Even with how back he's been the past couple years i am still more comfortable with him starting than Wenning if Flacco went down

    2. hn68wb4

      hn68wb4

      *how bad he's been

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

I guess it isn't horrible. If Flacco is out just a game or two Schaub might be able to pull out a couple wins and keep us in the hunt. Still..surprising.
