  1. This is all crazy talk.  Since when does Oz sacrifice the long term for the short term?  Andre is great but he is also declining and expensive.  They won't trade him because they can't get value for him.  No one is trading a 1st or 2nd for Andre at this point.  If they do then believe me the Texans would take it.

Andre is looking at a downgrade a QB from SHAUB!  On top of that he lost a coach he believed in and now looks up and sees a rebuilding Texans that look far less potent than a year ago. That is a pretty bad scenario.  They don't trade him unless he forces it.  He has to really burn his bridges with the Texans FO and fans to get out.  I love the guy and I love how much he loves football and understanding for what it takes to be great but if he comes our way we are getting him for cheap.  AKA we are not getting him.  #hopehescheap

Do you mean Kubiak? I can see that you are opposed to signing Johnson, however this is a weak argument, because the fact is that this coach that he "believed in" is now with the Ravens. Wouldn't that be a reason for him to come here?

The biggest obstacle here is obviously money. I believe we have around $6 mil left in cap space, and we haven't even signed all our draft picks yet.

  2. As I'm thinking about whether or not I like the Mosley selection, does anyone have any input as to where he may fit in? I know that he can play both MLB and OLB. At ILB, D. Smith is a near-certain starter this season, but I could see Mosley lining up alongside of him. Suggs and Dumervil are obviously the starters at OLB, with A. Brown waiting behind them. I think that was a solid choice.

I would've liked a WR though. It was our main weak point last season, and this draft had plenty of good ones.

Edit: And less than a minute after hitting "Post," we get Campanaro.

  3. Defense is good and everything but wow we need an offense on the field as well.

We did pick Gillmore. He probably won't have much of an immediate impact, considering that Daniels and Pitta should both be above him on the depth chart, but it's something.

  4. We've heard that for about 4 years in a row....

Each offseason everybody seems to think that this will be the year for the Browns, and every year it's either 4-12 or 5-11. They have been an enormous drag on the overall record of the AFC North for 6 seasons now.
