This will be for all the good dog memes and gifs out on the Internet, and whatever else dog-related you can find. I'll get things going with this one:

Time for some guerrilla corgi warfare.
Too good not to share.
What that dog was thinking:

Honestly ... Kind of torn with this signing. I'm not soo fond of players who turn against teammates . Smith has a history of acting out and even a bit immature at times. We're talking about a 35 y/o man.. I sort of hope he can NOT start turmoil in the locker room .
Steve Smith the player , probably has some years left... Let's hope he doesn't become disenchanted ...
Ice up son.
If I had a choice I'd prefer Boldin but this is good. Good thing Ozzie got it done.
I agree completely. It would be great if we still had Boldin, but this move makes sense for us now. Good move by the Ravens.
For whatever reason, WalterFootball hated the deal:

I personally thought it was a good signing, well done.
Well than WalterFootball needs to ice up.
I don't think any other fanbase would adopt Jacoby the way we have.
We even reunited him with his Dad.
Would still like to get Daniels, but he's scheduled to meet with the Skins. That's a little scary, since DC is the NFL players roach motel ... players go in, but they don't come out (usually because they overpay so significantly, the player just can't say no).
Pitta is our starter. Daniels would probably cost too much for a reserve TE.
Lol, you are delusional. That's one of those plays that I was talking about. Cool that you remember that one. Good job.
Ed Reed says you're wrong too.
Bringing up receiving stats on Jacoby is completely irrelevant. Everybody is calling Jacoby a "playmaker". Lol. Jacoby is a terrible receiver and you wouldn't want him to be a part of your receiving core at all besides being a WR4 or 5 backup. Legitimate chance for him to go all the way for a touchdown every time he has the ball in his hands? Yes, on kickoffs. Not as a receiver. Come on people. People only remember a couple of plays. Not his overall play. You would actually want him to be our third again this year?
That means Torrey#1, Marlon#2 and Jacoby#3. And everybody complained that the receiving core was abysmal and the passing attack was a nightmare last year. Logic, that would be the same core as last year. He can dance and run. That's it. Don't sugarcoat it.
I'm sure the FO makes more moves, so I'm not too worried. He won't be a #2 nor #3, X player from FA or the draft and Marlon should be in front of him on the depth chart anyways. So it's all good. People should just know that we are paying a returner only this money, not a receiver. And that returner could've been cheaper or found in the draft. This is money that could've been spent on Daryl, Clemons, Brian DLP or whoever.
I'm out.
Rahim Moore says you're wrong.
Too bad Graham walked. I would have really liked to keep him.
It was a freakin' joke. This place is horrible now. Wow!!!
Let's go over to the Dump Thread for some peace and quiet.
I just realized we did have someone better on our roster. Marlon Brown. As awful as Brown is, he was still better than Jacoby and was the #2 over him. Ozzie dropped the ball on this one. That's all there is to say here.
How is Marlon Brown "awful?"
Id still rather have Holiday for the vet min and draft some 7th round speed freak to do the same thing on deep threats. Would literally be no different.
JJ was drafted by Houston in 2007: 3rd round.
past tense. Use the eye test and judgment. if flacco messes up for the next 2-3 years are you going to keep on brining up the 11-0 ? I hope not
ravens need to know when to move on. With boldin they shouldnt have. With a guy like jacoby ...another story
When organizing contracts, teams use a combination of what a player has already done with what they can do in the future. There does come a point where that gets old, because I don't think anyone here will say that we should bring back Lewis was he was the DPLOY in 2000 and 2003. Yet JJ's production over the last two years is recent enough that it can be used as an argument. If a team did not use the past as a reference when working contracts, how would it know who do sign and to what?
not the point..We need to make the most of this cap. Jacoby jones isnt going to make us better. We havent addressed FS or Center.
We need a difference maker.
He may not have been our most pressing priority this offseason, but how can you say that a player of his talent will not improve the team? Do you seriously think we would have gone to the Super Bowl without him, or won last year's Vikings game without him?
Great to hear. JJ has done so much for this team, and I hope he can retire a Raven. People like him are why I follow this team.
