See, now this is turning into another Dump Thread. You need me to keep things on track by making the conversation about actual post counts. Without my comments the thread gets hijacked or doesn't get posted in at all.

I don't have a problem with the occasional slap given by parents as the child gets older, but never do a find a reason to beat a 4-year old (who barely even knows the difference between right and wrong) with a branch.

I don't have to explain myself to guys with low post counts like you.

Darnit. It was my hope that you'd say something like "because I'm in the club," so that I could come up with an appropriate "And this gives you power, over me?" Bane meme.

Hey I just wanted to let everyone know that one of the cats in my family (her name is Fresca, like the soda) has been having some health problems lately. She's getting checked out at the vet tomorrow. I'd appreciate it if you would all pray for and think of her. Thanks.

On a happier note,

I just wanted to formally wish everyone adieu.  I've had a lot of personal reasons that've kept me away, those close to me know the skinny.  The PR nightmare this week was kind of the tipping point. Like everyone else, I've got my own personal opinion of how things went, regardless of the official statements trying to save face in lieu of the evidence. That being said, I gave this some deep thought and with my strong beliefs, I simply can no longer support the NFL or any other organizations therein.

Nice to know your real name. I've sort of stopped following football too, but that began before the second videotape got released. I'm not going to get into all the reasons for why I have walked away from the game right now though. Hopefully you'll still check in the OT forum once in a while. That's what I've been doing the last few months even though I've stopped caring about football, because these boards are pretty good.
