Undisciplined play starts early.  Poor blitz contain by Dumervil allowing Smith to get outside then a stupid play by Jerrnigan keeping the Chiefs on the field to score a touchdown.  Nice job coaches!

Where all my Harbaugh defenders this week after another close loss?  

This coaching staff is an embarrassment and his name is at the top of the page.  Close games like this, and seemingly every other one this year come down to coaches putting their teams in positions to succeed.  If the players aren't succeeding, then the coaches didn't put them in position.  An extremely poor job today.

Hmm, accused of being a Patriot fan? Not even close. While I may have a grudging respect for Bill Belichick, I wouldn't care if whiner Tom Brady and his crew never won another game. The playoff wins against them were almost as satisfying as the Super Bowl wins. And the playoff losses were devastating, especially last year when I thought we were clearly the better team. To not be able to make a defensive adjustment falls as much on Harbaugh as it does on Dean Pees. I love our players. I just don't think they are being properly served by their head coach. You know, the same guy who the players rebelled against during the last Super Bowl year? Or is your "hall of famer" memory a little lapse? I'm not saying the guy can't coach, but he needs to evolve some. Our last coach famously said the the shelf life of an NFL coach was about 7 years, then his message got stale. Here we are in year 8. Like I said, change the message or change the coach.

"Harbaugh" and "brilliance" in the same sentence is the most ridiculous thing I've heard today. This team was touted as a Super Bowl FAVORITE at the beginning of the season. They were well out of the race when most of the injuries occurred. If he could ever teach his coaches/team how to hold a lead they would have at least been in the AFC championship game last year. If the players are still fighting it's because that's who they are as players, not because of some RAH-RAH college nonsense. His methods are detrimental to players' health and his message has gotten stale. Either he needs to adapt or he need to go.

Also, "objective view", see you in the playoffs. You can't tell anything from the preseason. The team will probably lose the opener in Denver because they NEVER beat Peyton Manning (minus one playoff miracle). They'll be 2-2 after the first four games and people like you will be crying "woe is me". But it's a long season and it won't be decided until December where they play 3 out of 4 at home. I'll take those odds. B-)
