  1. As far as I'm concerned, all these jumps have been the Broncos fault.
  2. As far as I'm concerned, all these jumps have been the Broncos fault.
  3. Jimmy looks good. Nice and fast.
  4. Ah, yes. It is a Deen Pees defense. #three man rush
  5. Is this a Deen Pees defense?
  6. Real mettle of Trestman will be shown at halftime, with his adjustments.
  7. Points on the board, thank you. We're in this game now. And we let the defense rest. Like I said, we might win with field goals way the defense is playing, so long as we give the d some rest
  8. That's what I was asking a couple pages back I don't think so
  9. Please send out tucked
  10. Obvious run on short and third... Loving this new OC
  11. Their linebackers are just smacking anyone who comes over the middle
  12. This is a game where field goals might win it if we can rest the defense long enough
  13. Has there been a passing play where Flacco hasn't been hit?
  14. We need to get some quick passes going and run the ball when it makes sense, and start wearing out their pass rush. We won't win just running plays
  15. Once again, our offense starts out a year devoid of weapons for Joe to throw to. Win a Super Bowl, and then have your receivers stripped from you. I love Ozzie, but this is one area where I think he whiffed. SSS is our only received worth anything.
  16. Gotta force Manning into more bad throws like that
  17. Webb looks slow and flat footed
  18. Well, it was a nice relaxing offseason for me, spent just watching all of you guys from afar. Now with 1 day left before kickoff, I shall once again enter the fray! As is with all offseason banter (which is why I don't participate), predicting the result of this game is pretty much a shot in the dark because we've yet to see either team play meaningful football. To me, this game falls to our receiving core and our ability to stop the run on defense. Do we have enough firepower on offense for Joe to move the ball? And without Ngata, will our run defense hold up to a Kubiak led rushing attack? Our familiarity with Kubiak vs. His familiarity with us is kind of a wash. I feel like we're going to be a late blooming team this year. I think we make the playoffs and possible win the division. But I don't see us winning this game. Not that we can't, or that I won't be rooting my hardest. I'm excited to see the youth in this team step up to the plate. But my head tells me that Denver is the pick as far as winning this one game is concerned. Denver 27, Ravens 20
  19. We played the NFC South last year John, not the NFC North.
  20. I'll concede this much... Ben is probably better still at this point but Flacco started from a lower point and has almost gotten to the point of being as good as Ben. To me Flacco is very capable of surpassing Ben in the next two years. Ben rather is who he is at this point. He came out good and got better but but near the rate at which Joe has gotten better. And Joe's path to this point has been a much harder one. To me, Joe is just better in a immeasurable way. So which quarterback is better right now? End of the day, there's a good case to say it's Ben. But I'm taking Joe over him and every other quarterback in the league every Sunday. Even Rodgers. And Rodgers is clearly a better QB, I just feel like Joe is a perfect fit for Baltimore and Rodgers isn't. No one else is.
  21. The best receiver trio we ever fielded was Boldin, Smith and Jones. Not coincidentally, we won the Superbowl that year. But all three played at their absolute best, not their every week normal level.
  22. I'm nominating this for wrongest statement of the year
  23. I think Harbs and company company pretty much sweep the competition.
  24. I'll admit a little bias too... Joe's my favorite player and I think Ben is scum. This will be an interesting subject in a year after we see some of our new players on the field. Wondering if Max Williams lives up to the hype for example
