  1. The last live WWE event I went to was when King Booker was going up against Rey Mysterio at The Great American Bash... I had an OK time, it was more for the kids. I'm going to have to agree, Bret & Shawn's Iron Man Match, by far the best match in WWE history. Everything, from the build-up, to the match, to the aftermath, to the conclusion over a decade later. I really miss those days. If wrestling was like the 90s, I'd still be watching it.
  2. The longer the take, it seems the more you get drawn into what is happening. When movies change angles frequently, something happens in my brain that says, "OK, reset. Where were we again?" Not with this movie, completely enveloped by it. Alfonso Cuaron (the director) won me over big time with this movie, and as much as I knew I wasn't going to like Gravity, I gave it a chance just because it was him who directed it. Gravity, had it's moments, but nowhere near Children of Men. Also, may want to catch his series "Believe" he's making.
  3. And here I thought I was the only person in the world who actually loved that movie. Saw it in theatres, out of the four people that saw it, I was the only one that stayed awake through the whole thing. Really love the single-take camera shots, especially when they're escaping the refugee prison, that one take was something like 7-minutes long, from the time they exited the apartment building she gave birth in to the apartment building they stole the baby back. One of the few movies I have on my top shelf that I can watch a million times and never get sick of it.
  4. So, our cat disappeared for about three hours today. Then, in the process of trying to find my workout shoes under the couch, I noticed a newly torn hole and a large lump sagging in the lining.
  5. Almost finished with all the old X-File episodes... what should I watch on Netflix next?
  6. 7/10. Some parts seemed to drag on longer than necessary, other bits too predictable.
  7. "The Mouse That Roared", anyone?
  8. Minority Report was innovative to say the least. Not the biggest Cruise or Farrell fan, but they managed to pull me into the theater seat (mainly by physical threat).
  9. I agree with that. The beginning jumped around too much and the ending just seemed to slow way down. Then again, I'm the same guy who has "Children Of Men" in his Top-10 All-Time Favorites.
  10. I liked the concept of District 9, making humanity seem like the bad guy for a change in an alien movie was a breath of fresh air... but after seeing how the story went, I can see why the aliens are the bad guys. Not a fan of District 9.
  11. o.O?
  12. That is a running joke where I work. Every Monday when people show up through the door and walk by the cubicles, "Doctor." "Doctor." etc. When you finally hear someone say, "Annnnd Doctor", we know everyone has shown up in the office.
  13. Don't really care for that "group" of actors, all their movies just feel like the same thing after awhile. 'sides, I like terror (not to be confused with horror).
  14. Off to go see You're Next. Nice home invasion movie. Real terror. EDIT: Disregard. Wife says, "Tomorrow night!"
  15. MEGA DESK!
  16. Lie to Me. Halfway through season 2.
  17. Tried dressing up as Dwight once, cost me a lot more than it did Jim. And the bobble head, forget it.
  18. That's what she said...
  19. What a bunch of whiners. Even the host of Cheaters got stabbed once. You telling me he has more gusto than COPS.
  20. I miss that show. Didn't care for the finale.
  21. CSI Miami?
