  1. Underrated how PAT rule changes the game. Football is situational, a game of percentages. PAT is now a lower percentage play than a 14-yard field goal. Will be interested to see impact on play-calling and game management.

The Seahawks may give them a run for their money.

  2. Wonder if I'm the only one who likes the Extra Point being moved back. With this passing league, I was positive the Kicker position would turn into a dying a breed and be phased out. Now the NFL just put emphasis on having a good Kicker and made it more important of a position for the full 60 minutes, not just parts of the game.

I don't totally agree because, unless this equates to higher pay for kickers, I think it just means there is a higher incentive to go for 2.

  3. Love what I'm reading about Boyle! "Fifth-round pick Nick Boyle brings a lot of size to the tight end position. He was one of the rookies who didn't seem overwhelmed. In fact, Boyle showed his fellow first-year players where to line up a couple of times before the snap."

Yea I think the PUP list is a foregone conclusion for Pitta at this point to start the season.

  4. that all access rookie minicamp video gave me chills.

  5. Anyone else despise Kubiak right now. Hes bragging about how his offense looks prior to the draft. I hope we march into mile high and Joe Cool do his thing over Old man Peyton Manning. Fluke-o will throw 4 td's 300+ yards yall feel me? Harbaugh &Trestman going to show outtt in Denver. Maybe late in season would be a great game

  6. how will the ravens address the loss of torrey smith? i think we double dip at wr in the draft, it is now officially the biggest hole on the team

I see this being the most skill position focused draft in a while. I could see us taking multiple WR, multiple CB and an RB as well. Throw in an OLB and a safety and I'm happy. I think we address TE in the FA market. The question mark for me is how we bolster our DL with the impending loss of Ngata.

  7. Could the Ravens bring back Cary Williams? They would have Webb, Smith, and Cary. But Ravens asked Webb to take pay cut, and now he's on the hot seat money wise.

I'm so torn on this. He's a locker room problem but he would be the perfect stopgap on the outside.

  8. I think it's pretty telling about our fanbase that we would rather rant and rave endlessly about the Patriots, but hardly talk at all about Trestman and the offensive coaching hires. Why do we complain about another team instead of actually talking about our own team?

Shame on these Ravens fans for caring about the integrity of the sport.

He was blatantly held for the entire second half of the the Chargers game as well. Not a big enough name to get those calls just yet.

BWill is a fool, love it.

  11. So now everyone wants to backpedal their immediate condemnation of the organization based on heresay evidence. And KVV couldn't even show his face. Hmmm...guess perhaps next time some won't rush to judgement. Bring on those Panthers & Get Well Pitta!

  12. Some take "In Ozzie we Trust" way too far. All called for offense in their mock drafts - now they're saying how GREAT this draft was. At least until we start playing and we're still crap in all the areas we were crap in last season! Too funny really.

    1. beasy2487

      beasy2487

The whole point of "In Ozzie We Trust" is that we believe he will do what's best for the team, regardless of what we think or feel, because he's the expert and has proven that he knows how to build a championship team. Railing against him because he didn't do what we expected him to do is the opposite of that. A principle is only a principle if you stand by it when it's tested. Backing away from it now means you never really bought into it in the first place. You have...
