Don't they work on these kind of things in practice? Obviously not, Joe throwing the ball in blind faith crossing his fingers hoping that it will work. If he would have thrown it out of the end zone at least they would have had one more shot at it.

This rule about being on top of another player and not being down is a given, in this instance forward progress was stopped but it was a judgement call. The refs whistle stops the play however, so that should be a lesson learned, never stop until they blow the play dead. No sense in crying over it, next time drive him into the turf he's a runner, just don't hit him in the head helmet to helmet.

Joe said before the beginning of the season that he wouldn't be happy with just 10 wins this season, he wanted more. The way this thing is going they will be lucky to be 6-10 or worse, SMH!!!!!!!!!!

What does anyone expect the players to say, are they going to say the seasons over no. Steve Bisciotti will not stand for that, and look who saying it, Koch contract was renewed, Yanda just renegotiated for 4 years, and Joe looking to hit it big with his contract next year. Go figure!!

If they don't know how to execute the 2 minute drill the they should watch game film of our opponents, they execute it perfectly against our defense!!!!

So what I gather from some is Flacco needs to be successful, great offensive line, elite receivers, and a great defense to hold leads. Those choices would make any QB in the league elite! Lets be realistic that is not going to happen the Ravens are strapped for cap space anyway, I think the FO was counting on Joe and his experience to make something out of these guys and it hasn't happened. Joe doesn't see what he wants pushes the panic button and makes mistakes, Joe isn't the whole problem but he is part of it.

A Loss is a loss doesn't matter how close the game was, but the fact that it has been close is a little encouraging. We've been through the injury bug before and made it through, that is no excuse. Joe has regressed and made lots of bad decisions, and the defense is definitely not what is was. When Kubiak was OC I feel he stayed on Joe that made him better, the D lost high quality players that was a big influence to the team.

All that joking and laughing during preseason Coach Harbaugh was so cocky going into the season has now turned into anger and bewilderment. If you think about it this is John's 53 man roster and coaching staff, there is no one to blame but himself. I think he is suffering from a Ray Lewis syndrome, that's when all your top motivational players are gone and your left with a bunch of uninspired players.

The Ravens have always played close games since John H has been coach, the difference this year is their on the losing end of them. Poor defense has definitely made the difference and the offense can't come through to make up for poor play.

I think the Ravens Human Resource department definitely made personnel mistake this year, they didn't fix the secondary and standing pat with the receivers was clearly a mistake. This year is the debacle next year starts the rebuild.

I want to see them start fast offensively, none of this three and out stuff which has been typical of this down slide. They have to look at as if every game is a shootout.

They need to play with a sense of urgency, having amnesia with a 1-4 record will dig them in a deeper hole. They need to play like a 1-4 team that wants to make it to the playoffs and not a 1-4 team that wants to get through a bad season.

Those words of wisdom from Joe are disturbing to me, sounds like a guy just going with the flow. Joe cool probably has the amnesia working over time.

Two last place teams going nowhere is typically called the toiletbowl, little early but still appropriate.

This team is on the flip side of the coin the defense has carried this team for so long. Now that the defense is giving up the points the offense has to come through, no one can deny that it hasn't been with in the reach of our offense to pull out a wins. It's compounding team problems that their not getting that clutch performance out Joe.

I miss those pass interference calls to Torrey win Joe threw the ball to short, and Boldin could go up and straight up and out muscle the defender for those jump balls Joe is famous for. Those were the go old days!!!!!!!!

The Ravens are dumping deadbeat injury prone players, that's good. Maybe they can find some guys that aren't made of glass and want to play football!

It seemed to me after Forsett went down the offense gave up, I mean c'mon first and goal at the 9 yard line and win the toss in OT and go 3 and out, c'mon!!!!!!!!!!!! What happened, no desire to win the way I see it.

My one thought is, how in the hell do you have the ball at the 9 yard line first and goal, at the end of the game at home with plenty of time on the clock and settle for a field goal. People say the offense did enough to win, I don't understand!!!!!!!! Both offense and defense need a overhaul.

Steve Bisciotti said last year at the end of season press conference he wanted to see his Ravens win the division more, I can't imagine him being to happy about what is going on.

This patch work of plug in players from free agency is not working, and in addition to that the draft picks bust that they have had is hurting. Sergio Kindle, Terrence Cody, Ed Dickson, Dennis Pitta, Matt Elam, etc..... has not helped things at all. Just part of the reason things are going sour now.

Some say 30 points should win a game but with our defense so bad that's not enough. Joe is keeping us in the game that's all, this team is simply going through the motions, there is obviously lack of desire to win.

Another good start!

First Joe makes mistakes, like every quarterback in the league. I cant believe people are still misconstruing the 120 million dollar contract but those that do, don't know how the salary cap works. Enough said about that.  Joe throw in blind faith like every qb in the league.  The last interception the cb dropped off his coverage to cut in front of SSS.  Same way Jimmy Smith did when he got his interception.  That's why the defense gets paid also.  If you are comparing corporate America to the NFL, there will be no convincing you otherwise and I wonder why you are a fan.

Why am I a fan because I enjoy watching the games and I use this venue to vent my frustration, and the way I see it is Joe could and should be working a little bit harder because I like seeing my home team win!!!!!!!!!! Football is a big business and the analogy applies, you capitalize on the other teams mistake and don't create your own.

This team has been carried by the defense for years, time for the offense to pick up the slack, Joe has been in the league 7 years now he should know how it works. Score more points than your opponent.
