Maybe this whole thing is a ruse. They used a minor injury to hide the awesome talent from the Broncos so they can't game plan. You don't need to disclose injuries in the preseason so they didn't say anything. Behind closed doors Flacco and Perriman have been practicing and getting in sync. Perriman is playing the part of wounded duck walking out in pre-game drills but is actually 100% healthy. Conspiracy theory much or truth? Hmmm.....

bioLarzen, he is a feisty guy who plays way to loose. I personally see talent but he is a liability in my opinion. I am glad he showed the issues with punt/kick off returns. It shows what he is likely to do if given the job and better he fumble away the opportunity in the preseason than the regular season.

No surprises here. Good luck to Tyrod who was just named starting QB for the Bills. Glad he is getting his chance. Hope he learned to avoid contact.

Why no flag? Because the crew is incompetent. How they botched the delay of game call is puzzling. Either they all don't know how to count OR they just didn't feel like overturning their call. The refs are the ones that need the biggest improvement come week 1. Terrible.

I understand because I watched the same game. However, don't lose your heads. This is preseason. You can't compare this to a regular season game. The focus, speed, and reality of what is on the line is just not there. This is why many people think it should be altered because it just doesn't matter so many guys don't take it seriously. Guys will be cut this week and more next week. I personally feel some of the refs need to be cut. McAulay was past it 5 years ago. The real game begins next month and we will actually see what our offense can do then.

Agreed budman. We all saw the potential whenever he was in the game. The issue was the injuries which he believes have been mitigated by taking up yoga. If he keeps producing I don't care if he is a 7th rounder because they will keep feeding him. Quickness, great hands, athletic, ability to separate and get open in tight coverage.

Cody was released after the animal cruelty thing. He is long gone.

I wish they found a trade partner for Brown. It is unfortunate. I know Smith isn't going to be there that much longer just because of age and Brown was drafted to take one of those two positions but he just hasn't shown it. That is the risk of the draft. They all look good on paper.

Was really looking forward to seeing what he could do. Only silver lining (like Elam) is at least they got injured now instead of week 1 when the roster was cut down and most vets are entrenched with their teams. This way, the team knows he is down and out and they can still choose the best 53 either from the guys in camp or get depth from other team cuts/trades. It sucks though. Never want to see a guy go down. One day hopefully he gets a chance to play a down.

Is it concerning? Yes. But John indicated it would take several days. This has taken several days. I anticipated this extended absence. I will be concerned if he isn't back out there next week leading up to Preseason game 1. If he misses game one I will be concerned because it will seem he is a slow healer or he hurt himself more than we were led on.
