I like what I have seen from both these guys. They just need to build on their experience and Maxx needs to bulk up a little.

Maybe we should trade SSS to a contender for something that can help us in the future. The guys deserves better than what this team can offer right now.

Final pass play for Bengals. Jimmy playing 7-8 yards off of Green. Didn't get up and jam, reroute, press, whatever. Green ran his route clean right to the spot he and Dalton had practiced who knows how many times. I knew it was a touchdown before they snapped the ball. I realized the futility of our game plans at that moment. We have seen it more and more over the years. I blame myself for taking this long to see what was right there. Do the coaches see it?

Little Kraft has all the charm of daddy Kraft. Those two really sum up how I view people from Mass. Sickening to look at and even worse to listen too.

I feel like we have the talent (even at WR). We just don't have the coaches to help them succeed on the field.

It will be a LONG season if we continue to generate zero pressure on the QB. Watching the Jets last night blitz and get home with just a 4 man rush goes to show how much better your defense looks and plays with a hurried QB. Note to Pees, "No more 3 man rush plays!!!" You have been doing this for years with the same results.

My question what did the team REALLY do in San Jose all week? I know what they weren't doing. Can we have someone in the booth with Pees who slaps him in the face every time we rush 3 guys? It NEVER works.

This was a depth move to add experience, a guy who understands rushing the passer and someone who is in football shape since he was just recently cut. He will be a situational guy is my bet and hopefully the young guys really bring their A game to stopping the run and setting the edge.

Jimmy was involved in several run stopping plays if memory serves me. Running back was run wide to his side of the field and Jimmy came up to tackle. It is good team play.

Our defense sure got younger in a hurry.

This is slightly off topic but can you imagine the fury unleashed if Pacman knocked off Steve Smith's helmet like that and tried to slam his head into it? How is he not suspended?

I love Suggs but he seems to disappear in games and show up for Pittsburgh/New England. I love the guy and it does suck to lose him but I want to see what the young guys can do. My only real fear is the loss of experience and edge setting.

If I was Webb I would be expecting pass number 1 to come right for my guy. Take a few steps back and jump the route as soon as Manning raises his arm to throw. I expect a lot of short to intermediate passes from Manning with a LOT of runs.

Fans will point out that noone is dumb enough to do that in this situation because of the world watching but I believe they are so arrogant and addicted to cheating they will do anything they want. Let's say it was them, what is the league going to do? Nothing.

I truthfully want to know. Do schools in Boston condone cheating? Do they say, "Other people do it" and turn the other cheek? I understand the reaction to explain away things we don't want to believe are true. I did it with Rice. Eventually, the amount of "coincidental" events and circumstantial evidence becomes to great to explain away. Do we really need to see a guy pointing a jamming device at the Steelers sidelines to know they are up to something? I am sure the fans would come up with an excuse for why he was there. Yes, I am a Patriot hater but that is because I have zero respect for a franchise that has done so much harm to a game I love.

I had forgotten all about Huff. Lord, between him and rookie Elam I am not surprised we gave up 7. It just kind of snowballed that second half.

It is a terribly useless game. It should just be awarded to players instead of them having to play in the game. That way noone turns it down and they can focus on getting it presented to players who earned it instead of popularity. Guys use this as a bargaining chip on deals and it has lost all credibility.

True but he could say how it feels. Is he running? Jogging? In constant pain. Anything would be nice.
