  1. We have to see what we have to know what we need in the offseason. Let the young guys play.
  2. That is possible. On the otherhand it was his biceps and not lower body. He might still be in cardio shape if he has been rehabbing for a while.
  3. Urban might catch the ball when thrown to him.
  4. Makes me think of Perriman and that episode from the Simpsons when Ozzie Smith (on Mr. Burns baseball team) falls into that bottomless hole.
  5. Talk about an opportunity for this kid. Going from one team that had no room to almost being a starter on another due to injury.
  6. Can we just sign him to dance on the sidelines and entertain?
  7. I don't care if he only plays the last couple of games so long as he shows us what we have. Regardless, Ozzie needs to attack the offseason looking for a number 1 WR. Free Agency or the Draft. If he misses and gets a number 2 so be it. Anything will be better than the current situation. If Smith comes back for a year and Perriman becomes a force, so be it. But we can't just stay status quo into next season or we will be having the same conversation all over again.
  8. I still think his knee isn't 100%. Seems slower to me and thinking before he takes off instead of reacting.
  9. Who is the backup center normally? I know it isn't Urschel on the depth chart but if he is the spot replacement center shouldn't he be used to taking these snaps in mock practice? It is called being prepared for any situation.
  10. For all those wanting an aggressive defense back again I don't know it will ever happen. Thanks to the Rice fiasco we are going players with zero background/anger issues (ie. usually the more aggressive play-makers). That and the league has been slowly De-evolving into a Fantasy Wonderland where the offense can do no wrong. The game is changing, the refs are regressing, the head office of the NFL is crumbling from incompetence and greed. I find it a chore to watch these games anymore. The fun is almost gone. Sad.
  11. I have never been less concerned with a Sunday during football season (unless of course it is the Ravens bye week). I have almost no stress or anxiety. Whether they win or lose I have zero expectations which has left me quite relaxed today. While I am sure I will still have anger and disgust from the performance we will witness I believe I might be adding a little time to my life today and each week moving forward. For that I say "Thank You Ravens".
  12. One thing I believe if often overlooked when it comes to player contracts. Some guys aren't worth the investment. Some can't handle the funds and added expectations. They play their best when trying to achieve a goal but upon achieving said goal they just turn it off. I wonder how many players we have seen leave the organization because the front office felt that might be a concern with particular individuals. Then there are those guys like Yanda who just play balls out regardless of what they are making and earn their pay each week. Just thinking out loud as we move further into the season.
  13. Yanda just got signed to an extension. 4 years.
  14. The opposing teams need 3 points we give them 7. Want that two point conversion? No problem. That kind of playing around?
  15. I just want them to play aggressive. No software coverage and no standing around in zones. If you get beat, learn from it. No free easy passes. Above all, play smart.
  16. Why should we expect to win another game this season? The d continues to make the same mistakes game after game and teams are picking us apart. Lewis looks lost out there. Our WR's disappeared as the game went on, minimal pass rush, stupid penalties, coaching mistakes, on and on and on. Same thing each week. It is an exercise in futility and sad to watch.
  17. All you guys suck. Now go prove me wrong.
  18. There are a number of factors in this and not all are in Joe's control. O-line needs to keep him upright so he isn't getting smacked around and hurried into anticipation/desperation throws. He needs to set his feet and give his receivers a chance with pretty passes. He keeps throwing off his back foot which makes for inaccurate passes. The receivers need to be on their spot when Joe throws the ball. Unfortunately we have a lot of unproven guys out there right now. We would all like to see fewer turnovers but a lot needs to go right.
  19. If only Elam cost us a 7th round pick.
  20. Welcome. Run fast, catch what comes your way, and secure the ball. Do that and you will fit in just fine. I don't expect too much first game but keep learning and show off the wheels. Get the secondary up the field a bit.
  21. Can we just go and kidnap a WR we like from another team? Who would notice? Finders keepers.
  22. I wonder if he did more damage or they reevaluated and found they should have done this at the beginning. Either way, I hope they got it right this time.
  23. In fairness, concussions are different for everyone. I have heard of players retiring because of concussions that scared them regarding long term effects or compounded effects.
  24. I understand the logic in what you are saying and I partly agree. My only counter argument is I don't know how many yards we were going to run against the Bengals and Broncos (expecially with Kubiak knowing our personnel). Especially with Monroe going down the first series of the first game. I think the true answer will show itself in the next few games.
  25. Wait.....Give Camp more touches? Who here didn't already know we should be doing this? Seriously? The kid is quick, seperates, athletic, catches everything that hits him, and slippery after the catch. Only knock is he can get dinged. He has been healthy to this point this season but for some reason hasn't seen the field much. I don't get it.
