  1. I thought I read somewhere that Joe has already earned (received) all the guaranteed money of this first deal. If that is true he is one very rich guy and the second deal could be much more team friendly per year. ie. Still making 10 per year but not 20 per year.
  2. We saw a lot of guys finally show up to play yesterday. If that happens again against the Bengals then we should feel a lot better about this off season. Please just let Upshaw walk away though. Don't do the Jah Reid/Mount Cody experiment with him. He just needs to go.
  3. I would be happy if they just award us Joey Bosa, Jalen Ramsey, Laremy Tunsil, and Laquon Treadwell. We can just trade all this years picks and call it a day on day 1. The rest of our needs can be addressed in free agency. Sound good?
  4. You can't not like Aiken. However, if Aiken is our number 1 or 2 come the beginning of the 2016 season than this organization has failed again. Smith and Perriman SHOULD be in those two spots. Obviously we have uncertainty with both but with an entire offseason they should have this addressed. Again, I like Aiken but we need to do better to compete. The same can be said for pass rush, running back, all of the DBs...
  5. Nothing to lose right now.
  6. You can't blame all the defensive mistakes on Pees. He is kind of limited by the personnel. However, it sure looks like the players out there just don't know their assignments and I know I have lost all confidence in the game plan. Is this the same for the players and their confidence in him OR are they just that lost?
  7. Just to expand on my comments, I believe he made his feelings heard about not wanting to play LT last year or the year before. It is certainly possible he has changed his mind. Especially when he learns about the extra money the position demands.
  8. Didn't Osemele say he wanted to play guard? I don't think I am making that up but I might be. Either way, to keep him is major money, to pay him LT money is even bigger, and if he doesn't want to play tackle he would surely pass and go to a team that will pay him big money to be a guard.
  9. I was wondering just that. Does this make it easier or harder at the discussion table?
  10. They were bad but at least we saw they were trying. You almost have to work hard to be THIS bad.
  11. Which is worse? Incompetent refs or corrupt refs? Can't tell if they aren't trying or trying to hard.
  12. I would rather see the development of a Renner or whoever the Ravens felt strongly enough about to draft but have slip off their roster due to depth. Bring in a young guy and give him a few games to prove he is a legit backup. He will work for peanuts and get good game experience. What do we have to lose?
  13. What would happen if a team decided, while being screwed by the refs over and over again in the same game, to boycott the game and just take their ball and go home? Essentially, the head coach says "screw this" and had the team head to the locker room. Sure they might forfeit the game and all but could they be forced to finish the game? That would be quite the protest and force somebody's hand. Definitely embarrass the league a bit.
  14. I enjoyed the game...sort of. The refs need the boot. Too many obvious mistakes to give them a pass anymore. At the end of the day I prefer the higher pick than the W but I understand the W gives thee young guys confidence going forward and they need to learn to win. Ultimately, I came away from this with more appreciation for Joe. He takes the same shots Matt took today but Joe gets right back up and heads to the huddle with barely a grimace. I know Matt stayed in but you know what I mean.
  15. This is a 5 week audition for next year. Give everyone as many snaps as possible to weed out the ones that just don't belong.
  16. True, they did VERY well. But it was one game and against the Browns. I know Buck did it the week before as well but still that was the Rams. Lets just see what they can do the rest of the way.
  17. This is an embarrassing match-up.
  18. First offensive play of the game for the Ravens: Throw to Juszczyk in the flat. Just calling it now.
  19. The Patriots don't care about the game, don't care about the rules, don't care about the fans. They prove it by the smug attitude and constant rule breaking (cheating). They don't respect it. It reminds me of hooking up my game genie back in the day and destroying the games I had sitting around. Md dad saw me beating games and told me how good I was at the game console. I didn't think much of it because I was obviously cheating. The end result was I got bored with me games real quick and felt no further satisfaction playing. At some point soon Brady and Belicheck will walk away. People will say it is because they ran out of accomplishments to achieve but in my opinion it will be to cover up the methods they took to achieve those SuperBowls and because eventually the unfair competitive advantage takes the joy out of winning.
  20. I truly believe I will skip this game. Almost no one is playing I care to watch. Might as well be an exhibition game. On a side note it is funny I saw a commercial for this game hyping Manziel. Couldn't help but think they cut Joe out of the highlight reel for the promo after his injury. Now they can't even hype Johnny football. What a comedy this year has become.
  21. Don't care who wins the SuperBowl so long as it isn't the Patriots. I would even root for the Bengals.
  22. Well I for one will sit back and relax. Don't really care what happens going forward. Most of the players I would tune in to watch are sitting at home like me anyway.
  23. Agreed. I didn't even thik of it until the NFL said it. I was more hung up on hearing a whistle before the snap. Half the players on the field just stood up and thought it was over.
  24. Was I the only one who heard a whistle to blow the play dead before the snap? Why else would all those players just stop moving and look around? They all thought the game was over too. Not that it matters, we tried so hard to lose it anyway. We really didn't need all the help from the refs to blow the game. What happened to playing physical football? The game I loved has slowly turned into this flagfest and constant player whining for more flags.
