  1. Jack was to much of a risk, and we didn't really have a shot at Ramsey....we tried to trade for him and we couldn't reach a deal.
  2. PREACH, Crusader!!! Q don't play that Ravens don't play that either....
  3. Ramsey was gone, Jack would bring swagger to the training room, Spence brings swagger to the rehab clinic and Tunsil brings swagger to the party while his friend jumps out the window.... Watch the game tape (not just highlights) - Stanley > Tunsil, Correa > Spence. I don't care about swagger, I care about play on the field and winning. This might be the post of the year...
  4. So you personally know that Ramsey,Jack Spence and Tunsil have swagger? Why? Cause they run their mouth? Just because they come across as loud doesn't mean they have any leadership skills or can motivate team mates the way Lewis/Reed/Suggs have done. Nobody knows how any of these guys will act. For that matter, how do you know that Stanley,Correa and Kaufusi, just because they are reguarded as high character guys, won't come in here breathing fire and giving the team a much needed shot of adrenalin? Sorry, we don't know any of this. It's only your speculation that you've based on hearing talking heads on TV or the internet claiming they know more than anyone else. I'll wait and see them play football before I make my decision. Exactly, and by the looks of Correa's highlight video (I only watched a little bit of it) it seems that he isn't afraid to let you know when he makes a play on you. He looks like he plays with passion and intensity, which to me looks like a little bit of swagger. Now will he do that here in the NFL? I guess time will tell.
  5. Agreed, truly sad no team gave him a second chance while Hardy and others do Life of an aging running back...
  6. You said we ignore a position of need, but we drafted a LT, 3 pass rushers, a CB, another DT, a WR, a potentially starting RB, another OL, and an athlete that could turn out to be a Julian Edelman type receiver. Really, the only position of need that we didn't address was ILB, and we could have that position filled with guys already on the roster. Obviously Ozzie and company know a lot more about scouting and drafting than anyone on these message boards, so I trust them a lot more than I would you. Also, look at the players you listed. If we had those guys listed higher on our board than the players we chose, I'm sure we would have picked them. In round 2, we picked a pass rusher over Spence. Apparently we didn't want Spence, or Alexander, or Jack. In round 3, we picked a DE, which you also list a DE so that doesn't make sense. We had a great 4th round, and just because we may have drafted a guy you didn't know, doesn't mean he isn't better than the ones you listed. We drafted a WR in the 4th round, why would we in the 5th round when we are already stacked at WR? Instead of hoping those guys tear up as you say, why don't you hope our guys do instead? Since we drafted for every position you considered a need except ILB....
  7. He is gonna start somewhere on our line next year. The question remains, where? I think he could start out at LG for a year.
  8. This is a good pick. We need to keep Joe upright, and have someone who can be reliable. I don't think this means Monroe is a goner, because he may end up playing LT this season and we put Stanley at LG. There is a lot of talent left, including some pass rushers and ILBs. Do we take a chance on Jack? Maybe we take Reggie Ragland. Noah Spence? Emmanuel Ogbah? Who knows. I think we go defense today with both picks.
  9. The closer we get to the draft, the more I have absolutely no idea who we will pick, or what we will do. I think we could trade down a couple spots, or possibly 9. I think we could stay put and could have 4 different players in play when we pick. I can't wait to find out. My hope is that we land a defensive playmaker, but if we take Tunsil, it would be hard to be upset about it.
  10. If this happens, the whole fan base would explode. Could the trade happen? Yes. But I don't think we take Josh Doctson. If we trade back to 15, I think we will take a defensive player.
  11. Right? I could really see it happening. I don't think it will be that far though. The farthest I see us trading back, and still don't think it happens, it to #20 with the Jets. A lot of teams will be calling to come get Paxton Lynch, including the Browns. I think we could trade with the Browns. Maybe get another 2nd rounder and move back to #8, because SF will be hot on Lynch probably. I don't know what we would think about letting a division foe get a possible franchise QB, but another early pick would be nice.
  12. Karl Joseph won't last until the 3rd round. I don't think Scooby Wright will last until the 4th either. It could look like this: 1. Tunsil/Bosa/Jack/Buckner/ (I really have not a clue who we pick) 2. Joseph/or a corner. 3. Wright (I'd be happy with this pick.) 4. OL
  13. That's the real issue..The Ravens medical staff. They probably don't even know what knee is in question on Jack. However, I do think he's off the board at 6, too risky. Bosa and Buckner don't have the skill set they desire neither is the twitchy guy that can turn the corner sideways. I do think Bosa is a Suggs type of player and is a better fit than Buckner. If neither is available it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they selected Hargreaves at 6. The thought of going into 2016 with Shareece being #2 is basically forgoing the season. I wouldn't be surprised if we select Jack with the 6th pick. He could check out fine with our medical staff. I guess you think our medical staff is terrible because of Perriman? Yeah, every human being is the same I guess. We don't heal differently or anything like that. Come on. Now, I do think we could pass because of injury concerns. If he gets past us, that should be concerning for teams underneath us. But if we take him, I trust our medical staff a lot more than I would your opinion. Another thing, I really doubt you know enough to evaluate players on whether or not they have the skill set the Ravens want, unless you have had scouting experience, which doesn't really mean anything either. If the Ravens choose Bosa or Buckner, I would be extremely confident they are gonna be a great player. Bucker may be a dominating player for years to come.
  14. That would be a perfect scenario for the Ravens but we would be the luckiest ideots to wait till 6th. Someone else will move for ramsey if we just sit there. If Tunsil goes 3rd then we need to call Dallas and offer two of our 4ths to move up and get him. Maybe even a 4th this year and a 3rd next year if they get greedy. if we want Ramsey and he falls to 4th overall then GO GET HIM! I don't see the Cowboys moving, unless someone gives up a lot to move up, which I don't think we will do. To move up 2 spots, we are likely giving up at least 3 picks. The Cowboys are gonna stay where they are, and I think they are gonna choose between Bosa, Ramsey, or Elliot. If we trade, I think we will move down. The Chargers are going to dictate everything obviously. If they take Tunsil, we are getting Bosa, Ramsey, or Jack. If they take Ramsey, we are getting Tunsil, Bosa, or Jack. We are getting a very, very good player with our 6th pick.
  15. If we draft Tunsil, he will not be sitting behind anyone. Monroe would be cut, or maybe traded (doubtful). We could also keep him and let him play RT and bump Wagner to one of the guards spots. Tunsil is one of the best Tackle prospects to come out of the draft in a long time, he would not be a waste of a rare high pick.
  16. Why would you give up that much to draft a RB? I HIGHLY doubt that is going to happen, but I guess strange things have happened before. Your right though, is it guaranteed that they take a QB? No. Another possibility could be jumping in front of SD to take Tunsil. Peters has had injury issues and I could see a team giving up that much for a LT of Tunsil's caliber. I still think there is about a 95% chance they take QB. Maybe a 4% chance they take Tunsil, and about 1% they take Elliot.
  17. Jack??? Jack is a bust waiting to happen. LMAO Where did you go to school? OH and he can play GUARD too you know and if he is better then Monroe, which he already is, Monroe can play guard. Sheesh... Okay, I wouldn't say Jack is a bust waiting to happen. Have you ever watched this guy play? He is a freak of nature and would fit nicely into our defense. Tunsil would start at LT immediately, and Monroe would either get cut with a June 1st designation or maybe bump him to RT and slide Wagner to LG/RG
  18. That's a dream that could become reality. If QBs go 1-2, and Tunsil goes to SD, we are getting Bosa, Jack, Ramsey, or Buckner. What would be incredible is if the Cowboys take Elliot, then we are guaranteed to be picking from 3 out of 4 top defenders. I still highly doubt we get Ramsey, but our chances have increased for Bosa, Jack, and even Tunsil. He could fall right in our laps.
  19. 1. It's up to Pitta if he wants to play again or not. Not you, the Ravens, doctors, or whoever, it's up to Pitta. He knows the risk he is taking, and if he wants to risk it, then so be it. It's his life, he can live it how he wants. 2. I don't think we will take a RB with the first pick, but Elliot would be a game changer and really help our offense. He could be Ray Rice 2.0 and possibly better. Would I be happy? No. Very unhappy, but I understand the move. 3. How is it a wasted pick on Perriman when he hasn't played yet? Yeah go ahead and say well he hasn't played yet, but injuries happen and you don't give up on a player who hasn't had a chance to display what he can do.
  20. I don't see any scenario where we trade out of 6 if Tunsil or Ramsey is available. If we do, I'm throwing my TV out the window. Realistically, I don't see Ramsey being there. Tunsil is the one that I view as being a possibility. I believe Tunsil will go to SD though, and Ramsey will be going to Dallas. I still think we are going to be picking between Bosa, Buckner, and Jack.
  21. Trent Richardson is 25. He was star at Alabama and 3rd overall pick. LT is more injured than not and played at East Coast Carolina. Please there is no comparison. If he plays like his rookie year or like he did at Alabama it is a win win for the Ravens. It isn't a lot of money we are paying him and there are no guarantees he makes the team. What if Derrick Henry is there in the 2nd? There is a comparison, because LT has played a lot better even though he has had less carries. Richardson has averaged about 3 yards a carry in the league since he has entered. That is far from average. His rookie year was not a good year as a RB in the NFL. If you can't reach 1000 yards in 16 games, heck even 14, then you had a bad year. And its not like the Browns have had a terrible OL, he just wasn't getting it done. Now, can he turn it around? of course. Especially here and I hope he does. He is only 25 and 220 pounds.
  22. I'm just not sold that he's an elite defense player as advertised. Especially at the next level. I see where your coming from, but people said the same about Suggs after his 40. Bosa isn't the pass rusher Suggs is, but he could be an all around Dominant defender.
  23. I think it would be free live comedy if the Browns pass on a QB. Only the Browns would draft QB after QB then pass up on the opportunity when they have the 2nd overall. What would be even more comical is starting the most injury prone QB in the NFL "RG3" with no WR or runing game in a division that all 4 starters got hurt and 3 of their backups a year ago lol Well...be ready for it. Because its the Browns, and they could do anything. But as I stated, I really do believe they go QB. If rumors are true (which I doubt), The Rams want Goff and the Browns want Wentz, so they still get their guy. If that happens, then that bolds well for the Ravens. But like I said, the browns are the browns, they could pick anybody.
  24. When people were saying that the trade between SL and TEN was great for us, the first thing that popped in my mind was that it actually may not change anything. If CLE doesn't go QB, we are still in the situation as before. More than likely, I see us picking between Buckner and Bosa. False, it puts more pressure on teams to come get their QB. If Cleveland before didn't take a QB, then the bidding for a QB might not have happened yet. Now though, Goff or Went will 100% be gone. Cleveland will understand that coming back around for Lynch will then become harder and that SF or Philly is 95% likely to take whoever is left. Agree, and I do believe ultimately that CLE goes QB, but as I said, they may not. If they don't believe one of the two remaining is worth the #2 pick, they might go defense and wait a year or two to draft a QB. Or take Connor Cook in the 2nd. I don't see why the Cowboys or Chargers would trade back and pass up defenders that will be on the board. My point is, if CLE doesn't go QB, we are still in thr same situation as we were before thr trade. One QB will be taken then a run of defenders. Tunsil may go to thr chargers, and we still get to pick what is left of thr big 4 defensive guys.
