Some classic rock & roll - "Donna", by Ritchie Valens.
I've been thinking of an old friend I knew in high school, whose name was Donna. She was, and still is, a sweet and humble person.
In regard to the winter games, I say let's go back to where miracles happen - Lake Placid, New York.

The NFL desperately wants the Raiders to stay put in Oakland. With how on the rise they are, I think this is a real possibility.
I would love to see the silver-and-black stay in Oakland - preferably, in a new stadium, which could be named in honor of Al Davis.

All Michigan has to do now is win their final two games, or at least look respectable in them, get to the B1G Championship and win that, and they'll be in.
At least, that's what I believe.
Does anyone here remember a program titled, "The Defenders"? It aired on CBS from 1961 to 1965, and it starred E.G. Marshall and Robert Reed.

Then he went back to Canada and coached the Saskatwan Rough Riders before retiring.
Thanks for the heads up, Nightman.
As for the team name, will there be a "name the team" contest? I certainly hope there will be.
My suggestion for head coach - provided htey're still with us, and are okay with this - are Hugh Campbell and Ray Jauch.

I didn't know how far the Arena League has fallen - however, I'm willing to give the Baltimore side a chance; with the proper marketing, plus decent scouting of talent, and a good team name, I think we've got a winner, here.

We used to have Food Lion here in Clinton - but it shut down about 2012 or 2013; now, the store is a Universal Grocery Outlet, or UGO. Never been there, but I would like to try it.

I agree, Steve - in fact, I miss the days when Aussie Rules was on the channel; this led me to become more of a fan for that sport, especially the Essendon Football Club.
Michigan will be at Michigan State this weekend, and here's hoping for win number eight for the Blue and Maize.

My sentiments exactly.
The Indians in the World Series - it could happen.
As for the Senior Circuit, I'm hoping for the Cubs.
I know that the Premier League season is only seven weeks old, but what's happened to Swansea City? I would hate to see the side relegated.

Sounds to me that this guy should be serving time for cruelty to animals, but that's my take.
My favorites are Match Game, as in the seventies, followed by Card Sharks.
As for Jeopardy, I'll enjoy it when I can.

Tennessee is now 5-0 for the first time since 1998.
I have the sense that the Vols may just be in the playoff this season.
For my belief, Arnold Palmer was the greatest golfer of all time.
Rest well, Mr. Palmer, for you have earned it.
I notice that Michigan had to come from behind to beat Wisconsin.
How do you rate their chances for going undefeated this season?
Believe it or not, I'm expecting Michigan to make the College Football Playoff. I know that anything could happen before the final rankings and the seeding of the playoff teams, but I hold out hope for the Maize and Blue; also, I'm originally from Wyandotte, Michigan, so I do have some loyalty.
Ice hockey, Aussie Rules football, Canadian Football, rugby sevens or even old-school roller derby.
I've just checked the link, and it looks very good - I hope I'll be able to take in a match at Liberty Stadium someday soon.
Thanks, friends.

There are other sites out there too, with some no doubt going into more detail about what it's like as a fan. I know Welsh fans in general have a great reputation though, so I'd expect it's a good time.
I meant to put the next post here, but something went wrong. I apologize.
I would like to know what the atmosphere is like in Swansea, as I have a friend who's thinking of taking myself and a couple of others I know to a Swansea City match with the next season or two.

Now that you mention it, Willbacker, Queen and David Bowie did record a song together in the early eighties, titled, "Under Pressure". I thought it sounded good.
