My three fave-raves in the NHL are all Original Six clubs - Leafs, Wings and Broadway Blueshirts. The Hawks believe this is their season for the Cup, at least, that's what I believe. Some of the games should interest me, especially when the Wings and Preds mix it up - also the Wings and Jackets.

Yes, friend, Kentucky looks improved at 4-1; very good. Rutgers is currently 5-1, holding up in the Eastern half of the B1G, as it were.

I tend to agree with you, sir - the Badgers have been the class of the Western half of the B1G for some time now.

I do believe that Germany should be able to win in the semifinals, however, I suppose the Netherlands-Costa Rica match is one I shall have to wait and see in that respect.

I understand the U.S. plays Belgium on Tuesday, I will be waiting for that one with baited breath. As for the Chilean fan flipping off the Brasilian fans, I hope he was escorted from the building, so as not to cause anything worse.

I'll admit - I haven't seen Eastbound and Down, but from what I understand, it is pretty good. What bothers me about the series is the name, for it reminds me of the song, "East Bound and Down", from the movie "Smokey and the Bandit". I'm pretty sure there are some who were misled by the title, also. Still, the series is pretty good.

I haven't heard about this - what exactly brought this on?
