  1. I'll be up front and admit that the practice of heel managers is something which should be welcomed back in professional wrestling, as there have been quite a few memorable heel bosses through the years - Sherri Martel and, of course, the legend Jim Cornette come to my mind. As for the Franchise being a heel manager, now that I would like to see - provided that were to happen.
  2. Having read earlier in this thread that the Undertaker is supposed to be in pretty bad shape and may retire at WM28, I would have to say that, should this happen, he gave a good run, and while it lasted, he was providing quite a bit of enjoyment for the fans. Whatever happens, I wish the Undertaker all the best.
  3. Considering how some are commenting on movies in this wake of the Oscars, maybe I should dig out my DVDs of four particular flicks - Blazing Saddles, Silver Streak, That Thing You Do! and The Express. I thought those were pretty good movies.
  4. I know that I have commented a number of pages prior, in regard to Ring of Honor and Jim Cornette, but do any of you see any future stars coming from ROH to either of the two "big" promotions? Also, as far as "shoot" interviews go, I have been thinking of ordering a DVD of such an interview with a former great of the sport. If you have any recommendations, I am willing to hear them.
  5. That's one idea I should have considered, yet there is a one-hour limit on the computers over at the library.

Still, I will try to consider that for my next trip to the library. Thanks, flaccopoe.

  6. I have typed at my local public library from time to time, but there is a twenty cent-per-page charge there, and I live on an SSI check, due to my anxiety problems. I have been on SSI since 1994, when I first suffered an anxiety attack.

  7. Yes, friend, I just need to get going again on my writing. Hopefully, I will try to have some money saved to purchase a small portable, probably a laptop, with Microsoft Word, and then I will be able to save my stories to a flash drive.

  8. The kinds of fiction I would work on are those which include some political commentary, as well as some fantasy stories and one story idea based on trying to get along with my father.

  9. From what I am seeing in regard to TNA Wrestling, it looks as though the natives are restless. Perhaps having Bischoff and Hogan in this promotion together wasn't so good for the promotion, and it is apparently showing in the way the matches are going down.
  10. Although I may not be much on some current pro wrestling, particularly the WWE, but I do rather favor Ring of Honor, mostly because one of those behind it, as far as management goes, is Jim Cornette. This makes all the difference, at least for me it does, as Jim is one who is respectful of what pro wrestling once was - and could be again if given the chance.

  12. It is my hope that I will be able to get along with all of you here, especially when it comes to the real colors of royalty - those of the Ravens.

  13. I was born in Wyandotte, Michigan, but currently reside here in Clinton, Tennessee, and am giving the Ravens the chance.
  14. I'm in Clinton, Tennessee for the moment, hoping to catch a lucky berak as a writer, and I am turning into more of a Ravens fan - partly due to Ray Lewis and Mr. Flacco, but also due to the Marching Ravens. I also have a brother over in Davidsonville, Maryland, and I don't think he's one for the team from Washington. Hopefully, he's one for the Ravens as well.
