  1. I can see him staying here for some years. He's been kicked around a lot but we tend to stick with who we got as long as we can because not only is our team a good farm for players but coaches also get a lot of value being on this team for any amount of time too. I wish him all the luck in the world and hope his family can stay put for a while!
  2. Only about 3-1/2 weeks before the grind really starts. Enjoy your independence day boys and come back refreshed and ready to show the world that the Ravens are for real! GO RAVENS HAPPY 4th!!!
  3. I wonder if that's Mink in the suit :-)
  4. Is it just me or does this off season seem....... different? I start drinking the purple kool-aid about this time every year but this just feels like we're going to crush some people this season. I think we'll need a couple more statue's in front of M&T. Cass, Biscotti & Decosta dressed as the Tin Man, the not so cowardly lion and of course, the great and powerful Oz! :-) I see a Dynasty in the making! GO RAVENS!!!
  5. You're absolutely right Stixfix69. We're seeing the youthful talent right now but the "smarts" will show up once they have the pads on. Since we only draft smart guys, I think they'll do well. Just stay healthy and positive! Go Ravens!
  6. Ya, I think it may take Maxx a little bit to come into his own here but the boy has some mad skills and I would be surprised if we didn't see him out there in force, later in the year. Looks like we'll be throwing a lot more to a rotation of TE's and I think Maxx, although young, is going to seize his moment, sooner than later. I just have a good vibe about him and I know it's still way too early to predict but, I think he'll be here for quite a while.
  7. We shall see. He has the physical ability and now it looks like he may have the right attitude. Attitude is everything on our team. Play like a Raven!
  8. It's obvious that the FO is fixing the glaring holes we had last year and oh my gosh, are they doing it good! I start drinking the Purple kool-aid about this time, every year but this time, I think it's warranted. We've had a few top notch players hit with injuries over the last couple years that we hung on to and are now coming back to play. Should be exciting and if nothing else, I bet the rest of the league will be watching our waivers because we have way too much talent now, to keep them all! I am predicting we'll have at least one game where we score over 50 points. I also think our not allowing a 100yd rusher will stay intact.
  9. Thank you! I was beginnin to think I was the only one that saw a "bad attitude" on that last play from Torry. Don't know what his issue was but it was something because he didn't even try and had a "Meh" look on his face afterwards. Something was on his mind.
  10. Uh-Oh, the big 30! It's all down hill from here! :-) We've got at least another 5 or more years with Joe and that's fine with me!
  11. We've got a pretty good mix of young and old, all across the board. I think it will bode well for us this year. We just have to hope we avoid any serious injuries, especially early in the season. Perriman couldn't have asked for a better mentor than SSS or a better place to showcase his talents. He has an opportunity to sell a lot of Jerseys, once he gets going. :-)
  12. Ha, Gotta love the guy! Look out Sam Koch!
  13. That Tucker is real character! Gotta love his enthusiasm! You go boy!
  14. Looks like Camp is always fighting an up hill battle. His resume is beginning to look a bit bleak. I don;t know if he's just trying too hard or if he's just accident prone. I hope he can stay healthy this year but so far, he's just not holding up very well.
  15. I'm with you P&B! Both these guys were supposed to be something special but injuries kept them from showing it. If this is their year then, it's going to be our year too! I've gotten used to our killer "D" and I'd like it to be even meaner!
  16. Kyle said that he's proud to leave one top class organization and land on another top class organization. Soon, he'll come to realize that, he is FINALLY on a 1st class organization. You don't know what a 1st class organization is until you're actually on one!
  17. Arrington will be "Born again"! Best move he's ever made. Now he can finish up his career here and be proud! Not like that other place he came from.
  18. Although I believe we really got some talent in this years draft, I've watched a lot of interviews with these young guys and the thing that sticks out for me more than the obvious talent is, you can see there was a strong emphasis on attitude and demeanor for sure. I know I'm jumping out on a limb here but I'm predicting Mad Maxx is going to have a very high selling Jersey here in a couple years! If he doesn't end up with a Todd Heap type persona,(Minus the airborne acrobatics please!) I'll be surprised. I'm expecting him to be probably the best TE in the league in a very short time. I think the kid's got it. I'm sure our other draft picks will do well but he just stands out to me as what could be our best pick this year and he's on the right team this year to do it with Joe at the helm and our love of the 2 TE set.
  19. Double J was one of my favorite players! Really glad to have him back here to retire. Shame he left when he did though. He could have gotten that ring he deserved. Hindsight
  20. They figured that out pretty fast. Not much time to see the new guys work so what they DID see, must have been pretty good. Cool! Supernaw will get another job. The boy has talent, just not as much as the guys we have now I guess. Wenning is no real surprise although I bet he's ticked that an undrafted rookie beat him out in just a couple days.
  21. I'm with you @ZooDane, Time to drop the College Dreds and go with the Big Boy look Breshad. Can't wait to see these guys on the field. Our FO has done another great job!
  22. Looks like a Mad Maxx jersey is in order. I think this guy is going to be our next Todd Heap only without all the acrobatics! :-) Oh boy, they got a good one there! If Williams is as good, we're going to be scary this season!
  23. Awww, don't worry about Perriman, he has great raw talent and physical abilities and THAT's what the coaches see. Our guys will coach him up and get him where he needs to be. Can't wait to see him out there catching passes from Joe! Do you think it's going to be a CB today?
  24. Wow, you don't realize how short he is until you see him stand next to Downing! What is he, like 5'8"? He must be a baller!
  25. I think the Smith signing is more about attitude than anything else. He has an "edge" about him that we could use more of and I think we have enough "Good guys" around here that he won't be "too much". Get him tutoring our new WR from the 1st round of the draft this year. :-)
