I don't really understand the question. clearly this is the easy part of the schedule and we are playing this bad and cannot win. so to ask if we purposely tank is crazy. we just keep playing how we have been and you'll get your results.
that is a joke.
we have issues and if by week 7 harbs and the team cant' fix them, then we are pretty much hosed. what is disappointing is we don't really have any recent success in the draft save for mosley. other than that, it is pretty sad.
back to the topic, you never purposely tank. we need to see who we have, who to keep. we need better scouts. the draft is a crapshoot and it's not like we've been hitting it out of the park. one high draft pick won't make a difference with all of the holes this team needs to fill.
I really hate that the pats are consistently good and really who do they have? they seem to make it work somehow. i was tempted to root for the steelers today just b/c I really don't have the optimism some fans have, and wanted to see brady lose. however i am happy the steelers lost.
it seems like to me the ravens say they want to be this deep downfield threat, but we're not. we'll get one deep pass per game. but what is the point? unless that goes for a td, we can't seem to punch it in. it's sad. there is no creativity. i can't stand on 3rd and 6 we go for a long bomb that is not remotely close. just get the first down. seems like either a screen pass for a loss or a long pass that has no chance.
i want to have optimism but we've played the lower quality teams for the most part, except for the raiders and bills perhaps and we've really shown nothing. i don't know who these ravens are and it is not fun when your team stinks. i haven't enjoyed one single game this year. we could easily be 0-7.
i guess it's good that our division stinks and is still up for the taking, but nothing shows that we can compete. our schedule moving forward is dreadful and i don't want to rely on what other teams do. there's no killer instinct and that is not ravens football.
i hope i'm wrong but we have major issues on all sides of the ball
