Ugh man, I was afraid of that,
Is he the first round talent DeCosta said we would still get today?
Defensive playmaker please
IMHO Jack > 5th rounder

This^ exactly my opinion too
Just now, budman said:I agree with you, it just seems like it could go that way. Also I keep wondering if Mules Jack is there @36 do we take a chance? Maybe he last for the rookie contract?
IMHO I def take the risk on Jack at 36, no question in my mind. Be no different than Authur Brown if it don't work out but if it does work out Jack will be off the charts good.
I'm 100% cool with Stanley pick but man is it me or has such a high draft pick ever seemed so underwhelming or meh. I think it's because I had my heart set on a defensive baller and to see how close we were to Ramsey and it not happen. I think and hope Stanley will have a long healthy pro bowl filled career.
From what I read the only issues with Stanley is the questioning of his desire and heart. I hope that's false, the one thing this team needs is heart.

5. Buckner bowl, 6. Stanley bowl. And Ravens 1st rd. pick is......
.D. Buckner its official
My Draft predictions......
Rd1-- Buckner
Rd2--N Spence
Rd3--S Davis CB
Rd4--S Wright ILB
Rd4--J Hawkins OT
Rd4--B.Miller WR
Rd4--J Mills CB
Rd6--J Smith DE-LB
Rd6--K Hogan QB
This ^ is the best ive read in a while.
I would like to see the Ravens get a defensive stud at 6 and hold off on the OL, and I just don't see this FO drafting a WR in the first round two years in a row.
So can we stop all this talk about a number one receiver? Its Defense! defense! DEFENSE!
+100
I don't know enough about the prospects to chose one I like more than another, I would just like to get a defensive stud with attitude, heart and toughness.
Thank you! I thought that was the case. It seems then that the defense should commit whatever penalty that keeps the pass from being complete in that situation, saves them 4 points and the penalty is really moot.I can help you here. Quarters can't end w/ defensive penalties. Thus, if a defender fouls with the clock at 0 & the refs call it, the offense gets one more, untimed down. The offense would have been able to kick a field goal or go for a td if they wanted to. The clock remains at 0 but the offense would be granted w/ one more play.
Conversely, offensive players who commit fouls in that scenario end up costing their team a 10 second runoff. Thus, if the offense had been called for a penalty, the half would have ended right there. I believe that rule applies w/ either under a minute left in a quarter.
Question here I hope someone can shed light on. The play at the end of the second half where the Oakland defender interfered or held SSS so he couldn't make the catch for the TD, and the clock ran down to 3 seconds left forcing us to kick the field goal. My question is if the clock would have ran to zero would they put time back on the clock because a half cannot end on a defensive penalty? Or is that not the case at all. That situation presents some interesting senerios, and the defensive penalty actually works in the defenses favor the way it happened yesterday.
Couldn't agree more. There is a huge percentage of so called fans that live in a fantasy football world driven by meaningless stats. The W is the only one that matters and I'm pretty sure Joe has more of those than most QBs since he came in the league.Do you seriously care about his yards? His win-loss record is WAY more important to me. ,
That first sentence is great advice. An old saying going back to my grandparent's day was "Do not demean anyone if you yourself cannot do better". One game against the NLF's best pass rushers and all the Energizer Bunnies constant pounding of drums while whining and criticizing incessantly and relentlessly looks silly. Average people who thinks they are smarter than the professionals paid to coach/play professional football is cute and amusing. Hindsight is 20/20, easy to be an expert after the facts. Rejecting knowledge and demeaning players without taking the time to understand what entails in a football game is a waste of minds and time. Enjoy the game, encourage players and coaches. Bands of brothers and sisters of football teams are more cohesive through helping/encouraging each other than kicking dirt on each other.
I was wondering if any of you caught the way Jernigan was injured in the Redskins game tonight? The RT #76 for the skins went straight to his left knee on a run play left at about 11:08 in the first quarter. The more I watch that play the more ticked off I get. The RT was lined up to Timmy's left and dude just blasted him straight in his knee. What's weird tho is TJ got hit in the left knee but it was his right the trainers were looking at. The play has the look of one that could have really messed his knee up. So guys and gals what's your opinions on that play, was this just a normal cut block and I'm over reacting or was that a cheap shot? I rarely ever post on these forums but I read all of them And I'm really interested to know what all of you think. With TJ's injury history with his knees I hope he is ok.
The RT Number 76 for the skins, went straight to Jernigans left knee on a run play left. What's weird is Jernigan was hit straight to the left knee but it was his right that he seemed to hurt. I hope Jernigan is ok. The more I watch that play the more ticked I get.
I couldn't agree more, that man literally could not even complete a 5 yard out route for us. He was absolutely horrible and that's being nice.Oooooo, both of those are very good candidates.
Mitchell might be the tops as far as worst IMO.
Scott Mitchell
I Hoping and I really believe that Elams struggles were more of a lack of maturity issue and not a lack of talent issue. He always seemed to be a little immature and goofy and hopefully he takes things more serious now and can live up to his full potential.
One thing that can definitely boost the confidence of our secondary is Matt Schaub.
I love what the Ravens are doing this off season. Absolutely love it. Sept can't come soon enough.
Just wear those down votes like a badge of honer, means your doing something right when those obnoxious Pats fans are against you.I found this interesting from the comments section of that article:
I have a radical idea. Don’t cheat, don’t employ cheaters and just follow the rules. All of you everyone else does it sound like my kids when they get in trouble. It doesn’t matter until you get caught.

How is it anyone could down vote this thought? It doesn’t say the Pats or Brady cheated, it only says “don’t cheat, don’t employ cheaters and just follow the rules”. The fact that 125 people and counting would suggest that as a bad idea just shows how the fan base in Boston think. A bunch of cheaters. At first I disagreed with the sentiment by some that Kraft should be forced to sell…but based on this, I am starting to agree that Boston is not a place that should have a NFL team. LA Patriots?

Is there a defensive playmaker left for us to find, a really mean, nasty, choir boy with attitude and heart playmaker....our modern day Ravens def like the choir boy types so they make take him. But we need some un-choir boy like attitudes on our D, I hope they get 5 of those in the 4th
