  1. Pittsburgh has a WR coach with 31 years coaching experience. No matter who they draft at WR he can coach them up.
  2. Along with the selected players, take a look at their position coach and you'll get the complete picture.
  3. Finally somebody get's it. Football teams more so than any other sport are a reflection of their coach. John Harbaugh came into a great situation when he was first hired and all he and his JV coaching staff (at most positions) had to do was show up. Well now the Ravens are lacking great players and they need to identify with their coach only the coach has no identity. The Ravens were done when the article came out last week that said there's been no change in Harbaugh's attitude sine the loosing began. Enough said! If the Head Coach is not mad/pissed off with what he is witnessing during the games, then what improvement can we expect from the players. "Find a way to win" is the worst statement a coach or player can make. You don't find ways to win, you go out on the field and make plays to win!
  4. I made a similar quote 2 weeks ago about the Ravens without former standout players are being led by Harbaugh's friends, family, and Jr. Varsity coaches. If the leadership does not come from players then it must be instilled by the coaching staff. That's not going to happen with some of the coaches we have. Prime example: We have a former PUNTER as the CORNER BACKS coach. Enough said about Harbaugh's selection of coaches!
  5. I thought Hill was referring to the Offense and Defense when he mentioned lack of killer instinct. Offense gets a lead and goes away from plays that got the lead. Too many three and outs. It doesn't matter that the offense is averaging 25 points a game or whatever, keep scoring. The Defense never cried in all the years it carried this team (Flacco specifically). So now the defense is struggling and the Offense has it going, keep scoring and keep the pressure off your defense. Because with Pee's as D-coordinator and an ex Punter as cornback coach the D is going to be down for a while.
  6. Eight years of coming to the line of scrimmage and still can't make teams pay for sending blitzers. Maybe if he communicated with someone on the sideline other that Pitta..., but "He's my quarterback".
  7. This Coaching Staff is far from being an "All-Star" staff. We don't have the leadership on O or D to inspire the current players. The inspired play must be drilled in by the coaching staff. Ray, Ed, and Ngta are not leading them any more, so coaches have to step up and make sure they "Play Like Ravens". I don't see that coming from this coaching staff.
  8. Venting! Harbaugh's coaching staff with exception of RB, LB, D-Line is a freaking joke. They don't have the stud players and there inability to prepare young players is starting to show. Look at NE (even though they are cheaters) coaching staff or Pittsburgh coaching staff for example. The Ravens' problems run deeper than O and D Coordinators! With the great players of the last 8 years leaving during different intervals, we now see what this coaching staff in made of and it doesn't look good. Come on coaches! As a Raven's fan I hang my hat on Running the football and playing Defense. That's the Ravens' way.
  9. When your cornerback coach is a former PUNTER who John hired because of his connection to Jim while at Stanford and promoted to the position, no wonder the cornerback only play 10 yards off the ball. I think this is also the first year the Ravens have actually had a WR coach who played the position. Unless you're an exceptional coach aka the running back coach or D-line coach then I think it would help if the coach actually played the position he is coaching.
  10. The Ravens cornerback coach is a former PUNTER from Stanford University. He came to the Ravens via Jim Harbaugh. That tells me everything I need to know about Harbaugh's ability to select coaches!
  11. Picture the offseason weights as lifting the Lombardi Trohpy, GO RAVENS!
