I only ask because one notable reason for Hankins' porous season was due to the fact that he played more of traditional 3T role than he did in the past, with Damon Harrison lining up at either 1T or NT. Lining up over the LG seemed to have significantly hindered Hankins, which wasn't overly surprising considering that he's somewhat top-heavy in his play style and acceleration isn't a point of strength. He fared much better last season when mostly in Harrison's role. Even when he was the RDT in 2015, he was often shading the nose with a DE like Kerry Wynn often lining up somewhat wide to his right at RE. Shelton bounced around between the 0-3 slots, though he seemingly spend most of his time at the 1T or 0T spots. If the two do coexist, where do you see each of them playing? I'm a little more curious about their positions in the 4-3.
well said and part of the reason I was more than okay as the NYG GM to not save money to bring him back, even though I love Hankins
I do think my DL can be in the conversation of one of the better ones with JPP, Damon Harrison, A'Shawn Robsinon, Olivier Vernon.
Depth wise I have issues but those front four if healthy should be one of the best and Robinson will likely be even better than Hankins given the scheme and situation.

As crazy as OL bidding was I feel like I did well getting Whitworth and Hubbard in the RFA pool. Really helped out the Giants offensive line which was just in shambles last year. Eli should have the best set of tackles he has had in a long time. Add that to richburg and pugh and I feel I have done all I could in this game. And flowers is now on the bench! Maybe could be RT if I push Hubbard to guard. And I have barely any more stars so it is all I can do till draft.

agreed it is a lot of names at once--and I am all for the CoCos decided as I put in none of the work and essentially rep the benefits for my enjoyment. Just a thought that may work/bring interest
I don't mind that idea at all.
I also think that instead of going position by position we should do bidding in terms of minimum pay...so on day 1 of FA all bids must be over 15+ stars, every FA is available and you can bid on anyone. Anyone who is not bid on on Day 1 would then go to Day 2 of FA which would start at say 12+stars...and those not bid on go to Day 3 which starts at 10+ stars...so on and so forth... I just think the whole position by position really doesn't reflect how FA works and usually the highest paid guys go first and then teams slowly start filling out their roster as price dictates what they find to be reasonable value...IMO this would be nice as every year people hope to get a stud at a position and if it doesn't happen they end up having this mass amount of money they pay for a mediocre player and position just because they can

@BALTIMOREFLACCO I don't think you can bid off on Ricky Wagner....I think @-Truth- had highest bid going into final 5...

Really nice stablished LB core, some age but none seem to be hitting the wall too hard as of yet. IMO one of the best groups out there. Mine still needs some major work with Jonathon Casillas, AJ Klein, and Devon Kennard..I love AJ Klein so I am happy with that pickup and Kennard when playing does well, and Casillas is okay. Hopefully in a position to have some value in the draft at some point
I don't think we have even seen a 10 star bid yet..likely will happen on the first page soon--might even see 20 get cracked...wont be by me though, only have 18 stars left.
