    Not sure...my guess he would drop a little and not be nearly high on our boards and I would expect us to have 16 guys ranked ahead of him. If anything I think this opens the door more for us to take Humphrey, Forrest Lamp, Cam Robinson, Quincy Wilson, Barnett, we may even really like a guy like Reddick who could be very much like Orr.

    I personally can't see him going further than late 1st-early 2nd round. An achilles is not the worst injury and he has some talent..I am thinking if Myles Jack and Jaylon Smith still went early 2nd last year with far worse concerns (albeit higher rated prospects) he should not be hampered too bad by this one. All in all I expect him gone by our 2nd rounder

    I will not comment on most as much has been said. But I really do like the idea of getting Lamp in the first. I think he will be a great player and I love investing into OL in the first. The only concern is how does the line look. Lamp is a guard for sure and would be a great one. Alex Lewis has been proposed as either LG or RT--I think we all have heard that we prefer him at LG and I think I also read his transition to playing on the right side of the line was not the best so he may ultimately be our LG no matter what. Yanda I actually think in this scenario could be our RT and imo you could put him anywhere and his level of play will be elite, we saw this this year and in years past when he went to RT.

    Agreed that this round of FA was some good pricing. Happy to get J Stew for 1 star...will be my starter with paul perkins backing him up. Also really happy to get Andre Holmes--feel he was beyond underutilizes in Oakland and really is a very good player. If the Ravens get a WR in FA this year he is who I actually want given the price he will go for, his size, catching and potential...in the game he gives Eli a nice big target that he does not have

    Forgot about Tavon in all of that--he has great ball skills and is a joy. We are in a tricky spot as we are not going to get a guy with good size, technique/refinement/football iq, and ball skills at our pick. If a player has all that like Lattimore and Jones they will likely be gone. Of the guys left I lean Humphrey because of scheme and having basically everything except ball skills. There is the potential he turns into another Dee Milliner but I think given our scheme he will excel. I really just wanted to bring up Humphrey as sometimes on this board people talk as if he is a 2nd round pick

    Agreed on Jimmy and many of our past drafted perimter CBs. None have been elite ball skill kinda guys--Chris McAlister was a beast but i would not have said great ball skills, Gary Baxter when he put it together for us was an extremely solid #2 but again not the best ball skills, Jimmy as you said, Cary Williams had his moments too and would be similar. I think Webb may be the only corner I can really remember us drafting that I would say had great ball skills. I don't think we don't value it as we supposedly really like Marcus Peters but for our perimeter guys I think Humphrey is really a 9/10 in what we look for

    Ditto, he may be a really good option at our 2nd rounder. As much as I love him that second rounder is going to be one tough pick and is always an annoying one to look back at because of the muddled options. If we take a CB in the first I think our options open up to basically anything for the second round. If we go Edge or some other position in the first I think we will likely be limiting that choice a little more to CB, because there should be value and will fit a need. WR is in such a weird position for us this year--it is a need but how much we place value on that need and how to fill it will be interesting. We usually go vet wr, but if we happen not to this year I will be very interested to see what that means for the draft as I can see us doing anything from first round to late rounders even if we do not fill it through FA

    Good to hear he has some place on your board. As said I am a fan for us, I would probably put him #3 behind Lattimore and Jones, largely out of what we would ask of him. If I was just doing a general big board of prospects I would likely drop him but I think he is a very safe pick for us that would develop very well

    Anyone have any changed thoughts on Marlon Humphrey after today?

    I know our boards are pretty down on him because of lack of ball skills that we are all aware of but I really do love his fit in our D. If I was a team like the Giants or Denver I would be knocking Humphrey and just crossing my fingers that he is not the pick, but for us I see such a natural fit. We rarely position our corners to be in a chase position with no S help so I think much of his deficiencies in ball location on deep balls would be masked. Plus I like that he has worked a lot at LCB, and we are pretty set with keeping Jimmy at RCB. Not saying he will be best value at our first but I think this board is massively downplaying him and his fit in our D

    Not sure Flacco has really shown any preference for bigger guys over smaller guys. One could argue that SSS and Derrick Mason were two of his favourite targets over the years. Obviously he has done well with Pitta and Boldin too who are bigger. And decent with guys like Mike Wallace and Torrey Smith. In all of that I would say it seems like his best fit are reliable guys who catch and give him a target--you could argue all are pretty good route runners too...SSS, Mason, Boldin and Pitta all do that just in different ways, some got more separation than others, some had more speed and size, etc. but to me the most important thing is a reliable target who can catch it. Cooper Kup, Zay Jones, Corey Davis, JuJu, Ross are all guys I see working well. I do believe our drafting of has has led to us valuing Height-weight-speed guys more than we should and not accounting enough for catching, reliability, and route running. I hope we shift that this year as we have that already with Perriman and Wallace
