  1. was banking on taking DGB, think he may hit the 1k mark this year--nice pick
  2. darn, was really hoping to grab Grady Jarrett. Quite the run on players there
  3. agreed completely. If he plays to his potential he reminds me a lot of a Bob Sanders
  4. Not sure how I feel on this pick, really love Karl Joseph as a prospect. Think he is in a great situation in Oakland with Reggie Nelson beside him and some nice pass rush. I think my team offers similar talent around on D with a good pass rush and some solid corners on the outside. Obviously worry about the injury. My bigger concern is I truly do believe S is one of the hardest if not the hardest transitions from college to the pros. They are asked to know and do so much on the field and are usually in terrible match-ups. I have a lot of faith in Joseph blossoming into a great player and he is one of the few safeties available who has the skill set to do it all
  5. 394th pick the Winking Bears select: Karl Joseph, S
  6. Not sure why there was a neg on Darian Stewart, had to plus 1 that pick. I think Ravens fans are a little irked with him as he did not do too much he, but he was a key cog for Denver's pass D and fit perfectly there. He really was not in the best situation here to thrive, hopefully that changes with Weddle and some health in the secondary now
  7. Ya when he was coming out I absolutely loved him. Looked so powerful once he locked on..
  8. Nice got Jaye Howard. I almost took him last round but decided to go Morgan Moses. Really wanted Eric Kendricks but Howard was a great backup plan. He should be in a similar situation to KC where there is not too much attention on him as there are bigger names that needed to be watched with Sheldon Richardson, Clay Matthews and Anthony Barr so I would expect similar production
  9. anyone I can send my pick to for the night?
  10. thank you deflated football for deflating my dreams of reuniting Kendricks and Barr. Such a shame have been on the same team since UCLA
  11. Solid pick--that Pitty Oline has gone from perennial question marks (when Faneca left) and injury bug to one of the most underrated groups in the league.
  12. Tough time making that pick. Really wanted another guy but will take the chance. Likely won't work out. I think Moses is one of the best RT in the league though and I want a dominant OL. He is lucky to have Bill Callahan in Washington, I think that really helped him make his jump last year and I expect him to get even better with another year in that physical style system they have going. Like the combo of Kalil, DeCastro and Moses on my right side, should provide a great run game..once I get a RB
  13. with the 332nd pick, the Winking Bears select... Morgan Moses, RT
  14. Like the Linder pick I was not sure who I wanted more between him and Kalil so that made my decision a lot easier.
  15. With the 309th pick the Winking Bears select: Ryan Kalil, C
  16. I think that is the hardest yet most fun part of this game. Trying to identify what position has good value and when it will be going seems like half the battle of this. And it seems to become more important as we get further from the first couple of rounds. Being at the end of a rush on a certain position can suck and can lead to a desperation pick (sometimes good value though if the ones who go first where ones you ranked lower). But being able to pick that player you want, and not your backup or backup-backup, from the position that is moving is just so oddly rewarding. I think I have been a little late on most of my picks so far. I wanted a better LT and ended up with solid value with Castonzo near the end of the LT run (albeit I like him more than guys who went before him, still not the one I wanted), same may be true of my Jarvis Landry pick. I do think I hit one with DeCastro
  17. Ya I don't see why he wouldn't be. Has a great nose for the ball and makes plays in the air extremely well. Who knows maybe it will happen in this game..
  18. Value wise I wanted to take Edelman but did not think he fit well with Jameis Winston. Obviously perfect fit for what you are doing, he needs an O and QB that knows how to throw guys open and Tom is the best of the best at that. On Roby, did not hear the Donkeys were planning to use him at FS..will have to look into that. if so I would guess more in a Tyrann Mathieu type role and as we all know given the spread attack I am sure he is essentially a CB still 60+% of the time
  19. I was getting worried that with all the CBs going someone would take Roby. He is one of my favourite young corners in the league and I think in the next 2-3 years he will be talked about as one of the best CBs. I love how he is used in Denver and he has shown to have the talent to line up in the slot or out on the boundary.
  20. 267th pick, The Winking Bears select: Bradley Roby, CB
  21. good choice, albeit I do not pick before you do he was in my top 3
  22. ditto, was surprised people were taking rookies and guys who have some pretty big injury histories over a guy like Castozo who rarely misses a game, does well, and has really been asked to do a lot for a LT in this league. Luck and the Colts have always seemed to love the five and seven step drop backs, and really push the intermediate game, he has largely held up well
  23. Castonzo always seems to be criminally underrated as a LT in the league, think I got great positional and player value at this point with him
  24. 245th pick the Winking Bears select: Anthony Castonzo, LT
