  1. yikes thought I double checked that one...pick will be changed soon
  2. With the 22nd pick in the 2nd Round of the 2016 Forum Draft, the Washington Redskins select Tyler Boyd | WR | Pitt.
  3. Great value pick on Spriggs--I think if he gets a year or two to develop he could turn out really nicely. Hope the Ravens have a shot at him in the second, can give a year to groom behind Monroe or put in if injured..
  4. Nice pick in Zeke---I was not sure who I was going to take if I had him and Apple on the board. I have no question Zeke will be a top RB and should excel in NY. Happy I got Apple, think he will be getting more and more buzz as things get closer and given my situation at CB I think I got lucky with value and need
  5. With the 21st pick, in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select... Eli Apple | CB | Ohio State
  6. whoops mike neal--always get them packers mixed up
  7. That was an entertaining finish to FA...was not expecting to win Mike Daniels at 2 stars--pretty happy. My Edge group is loaded with Kerrigan, Preston Smith, Trent Murphy and him...should have one nice and fresh pass rush
  8. never attempted to make the direct comparison as a prospect of Arthur Brown to Jack...was just trying to say given our defence and division he may be in a similar position where he may struggle with what will be asked from him--should have made that more clear. I am hesitant on us for our #6 pick...If I was a Cowboys fan and had Rod Marinelli in my back pocket I would take him though
  9. I agree with you completely...and I will also pre-face by saying I think he is a top ten talent but he would not be in my top 6 for us. I think as a prospect he is a scouts wet dream The tackling is an issue and I see the same thing. What bothers me more though is how he takes on blocks. Again he is beyond aggressive here and he willingly lowers a shoulder at full speed and can hold his ground but that in most cases is not the best technique. He struggles to truly stack and shed and I am not sure he has this ability in the way he currently plays. In the NFL with OL who know good angles and shades I think they will easily handle him in the box. Plus I think runners like Leveon Bell who let his OL set up blocks will expose his tendency to shoot up field and run too aggressively into blockers. Also would agree his versatility is a thing of beauty but in our system I am not sure how much we would get to see that. I would further say in our division I do not see him as a great fit for what we play against. You could argue we need a LB to cover Duke Johnson, Bell and Gio who all come out of the backfield and split wide...and I agree here..but in terms of of each teams capability to just pound the ball knowing that is and could be a weakness he may be put in a bad spot. Put him in a division like the NFC East or South and I think he will be one of the best LBers in the NFL..in our division and on our team I actually think he has a higher chance of being in a position like Arthur Brown.
  10. Redskins Mike Neal 2 stars
  11. Redskins Lawrence Timmons 3 stars
  12. Redskins Keenan Robinson 0.5 stars
  13. agreed--I think his showing really hurt his stock. Would not be surprised if he makes it to the third round or later. he fell several times in route drills, during the gauntlet, was slow in the 40, was not impressed at any point and I am a big fan...I would take him in the third though. Really not the best WR class at the top..I think tread well and Coleman are 1st round guys...Fuller, Sheppard, Doctson and Boyd I would place in the second...after that I am not sure who and where I lean and am not sure there are huge differences right now between third/fourth guys and fifth plus
  14. Redskins Drew Stanton 1 star
  15. Redskins Brandon Carr 1 star
  16. Redskins Sterling Moore 1.5 stars
  17. Appreciated-I was not expecting to get those guys and it may harm me later as I have very little to help a pretty awful secondary that I have yet to touch. I am banking on Culliver and Breeland staying healthy and playing up to a decent level and patchwork at safety with DeAngelo Hall (who seems to be their version of Webb) and Kyshoen Jarrett who I like. Hopefully though my pass rushers of Malik Jackson, Chris Baker, Kerrigan, Preston Smith and trent Murphy mask all that a little...Also I seem to be keeping true to the Dan Snyder form of giving out one or two massive contracts in FA, so that makes me feel good and know all will be well..
  18. Winners!
  19. how about a 7th for thanks! I really don't want that many of them (none would be better) but I have two somehow On a side I really needed some DL help and got some gooders with Damon Harrison and Malik Jackson
  20. beauty, much appreciated kind sir
  21. soo does my bid on Malik Jackson count given that I had the player Name and team name reversed accidentally?
  22. shoot flipped my name and team name order...does the bid still count?
  23. Malik Jackson Redskins 12 stars
  24. Redskins Damon Harrison 9.5 stars
