  1. One trick pony yes, but better than Torrey by a mile, at least before last year.
  2. Is Matt Elam a bust? Hmm.. let's see. He can't tackle, he can't cover, he's confused about his assignments and he often overshoots or undershoots his point man. So, does that constitute a bust? Unless he miraculously turns into Ed Reed in his prime this year, I would safely say "YES"!
  3. It is okay to be a contrarian, but to be that just for the heck of it, come on man/woman!
  4. With Darian Stewart gone, Scott Chandler choosing NE and Wilfork potentially going to Houston, I am somewhat nervous with our inactivity. Not that our front office doesn't have a plan, but I would have like the above 3 to be Ravens.
  5. You're right! I was wrong about the team, but the rest of what I said about Goldson is right.
  6. The problem with Godlson is two fold imo. One, the Saints are actually trying to trade him (which won't happen). Two, he's become a huge liability in coverage I hear and playing very poorly. As for the WRs, I don't think we make a move for one right now. We wait till the draft or maybe sign a Crabtree for a bargain one year prove it type deal. As for Reggie Wayne, he is only a possibility during TC if the receivers aren't panning out. His case is going to be similar to that of Champ Bailey last year.
  7. Wow! So inspiring. He is a man's man in every sense of the word. A thoroughly good soul and one of very few that one comes across.
  8. For those that were interested in Terrance Knighton, he just signed a one year deal with Washington for 4M.
  9. Ozzie knows everything there is to know about every single free agent out there man! If he doesn't one of his staff members will make sure to remind him of every available free agent. I am guessing they have a big board up with free agents available, if they are released or otherwise, which teams are interested in them, and if they are gone! There's got to be something like that going on. Otherwise it is impossible to keep up.
  10. Dwayne Bowe has been cut I just read on bleacher report. Hopefully, if we can land him and Scott Chandler at a fair price, we'll be set for the draft. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2392482-dwayne-bowe-released-by-chiefs-latest-details-comments-and-reaction
  11. Here you go. http://www.spotrac.com/blog/nfl-minimum-salaries-for-2015-and-the-veteran-cap-benefit-rule/
  12. Yeah I later confirmed he was signed in 2013.
  13. He would be a good signing. If the Ravens are interested, I bet you Eugene Monroe and Daryl Smith will both be on the phone with Red right now. I'm not sure they were there when he signed with Jacsonville though.
  14. I am glad for Tyrod Taylore. The dude was mega talented and super athletic. I think if provided a chance he could do at least as well as Colin Kaepernik or at least that's his ceiling. Not a bad move for Buffalo or Tyrod. Here in Baltimore, given Joe's durability and iron man status (touch wood), he would stand no chance at starting.
  15. I am confused myself, but maybe he is cheaper than we think or at least the Ravens brass hopes so.
  16. He would be a great addition and would be cheaper than Owen Daniels' contract with Denver too. Much better red zone target for Flacco at 6' 7"
  17. Now that Andre Johnson and Eddie Royal are both signed, do we just wait for the draft for a WR? Or is Bowe still a possibility? Also, Redding who would've been a great addition is now with Arizona.
  18. He's lately been a liability and is no longer the ball hawk that he was a few years ago.
  19. Add me to your list.
  20. He's likely sticking with the Rams I hear.
  21. I think we need to reach out to Wilfork before he goes too. He would really be a great stop gap for Ngata. He is not an every down player right now, but the Ravens are magical in their D-line rotation to keep everybody fresh anyway.
  22. I think he'll just look imposing.
  23. When impact free agents that can come cheap go for a visit, they're more likely signed before they get out of their building. Not always, but most times.
  24. I like Redding too. But, I think he is headed to Arizona for a sit down. How about Wilfork? Would he be a short term run stuffer answer for losing Ngata?
  25. And to make matters worse, I just read that we aren't on his list of preferred teams anyway. Go figure.
