  1. We have to resign Yanda. He is the epitome of being a Raven. We have Suggs on D and Yanda must be on O at least till they decide to hang it up.
  2. John is a very coachable person that once he buys into something, it stays with him for life. That is perhaps why he's become such a great coach!
  3. Hey Ryan, I was more brutal than I needed to me. I guess it is that time of the night. I was unkind and for that accept my apology. You are a Raven, we all love you regardless of the occasional outburst.
  4. Ryan Mink has demonstrated a general malaise for spell and grammar checking and now he doesn't even verify that his links work. Just plain lazy work in my opinion. However, it must be said that Sarah Ellison and Garrett Downing are vastly superior when it comes to reporting and writing. Maybe Kevin gets Ryan to focus in on other things in his department other than blog posts for a bit or better yet, get him to apprentice for a year or so with Eisenberg.
  5. As long as he plays well, the rest doesn't really matter if put in the right context. However, he is an interesting chap with remarkable intelligence.
  6. Bisciotti tends to read your posts carefully.
  7. How can anybody like anything about Cincy? Seriously? The owner - cheap, the facilities - broken down, the city - well, Cincinnati!
  8. Patronize away sir!!
  9. Okay we have sewn up our backup QB situation. Only positions left to bolster before the draft are TE, CB and WR or do the Ravens have trust in the existing roster? I think if they sign Housler, then it is likely they just wait until the draft to see how things shake out.
  10. If he were as bad as you make him out to be, then Kubiak ( who we can both agree knows a little more about football than us) wouldn't necessarily agree to a trade for Gino. We still don't know what pick we gave up next year and what we got in return. It could end up being a net negative for us in the draft pick arena. We just don't know if we sent a 6th and Gino for a 7th in 2016 or a 7th and Gino for a Denver 6th.
  11. Gino trade? Does anyone know what pick with Gino we gave up and what we got in return?
  12. Perfect signing with perfect timing at a perfect price for a perfect back up! What's not to like?
  13. He was cut. So no.
  14. I heard Matt Schaub is visiting us this week. More than likely if his price is right and more importantly his arm is right, then I think he will be a good pickup for us. Obviously, we installed Kube's offense last year and Trestman has assured us he wouldn't change too much around. So, who better than Schaub as back up since he knows Kube's offense inside out (hopefully)!
  15. Why exactly would they let him go? Jameis Winston? I don't think they let him go because Winston would need a good back up if he ever becomes a starter this year.
  16. You are not alone in wanting Castillo gone. The lot of us wanted him gone too. However, the jury is still out just because we had Kubiak last year that helped with the offensive line woes. If stellar play of our O-line continues this year, I will join you in apologizing to Juan Castillo about this time next year!
  17. I would like to wait for the draft right now and see who we pick up and then after training camp cuts, figure out who else we may want to buttress our 53 man roster.
  18. Remember they have a lot of time between now and the regular season and a plethora of picks. Picks which they can choose to trade for a good player or enough cap space to sign a few good free agents that will get off rosters.
  19. I really think one of our own 4 young bucks will be up for the challenge to take up 1 WR spot. The other can be a top draft pick WR, either Jaelen strong or Devin Smith who will be the #3 WR this year behind Steve Smith Sr. and either Marlon Brown or Kamar Aiken. I believe the coaching staff has a lot of confidence in Jeremy Butler as well. Campanaro will be a great slot receiver for us down the line as long as he can stay healthy.
  20. The bottom line with a safety position is they have to be intelligent, football wise and otherwise. Unfortunately, Elam is neither. He is remarkably dull and thick to play safety or any other position in the NFL for that matter.
  21. Eventually teams like the Patriots will drown in their own vomit for all the illegalities they have utilized for unfair advantages to win games. I truly believe that, but unfortunately Kraft doesn't.
  22. Or they already know he is suiting up this year. Otherwise, there would be a sense of mild panic after Owen Daniels left for Denver I think. Hopefully the best case scenario will be the return of a healthy Dennis Pitta!!
  23. I thought Mosley was smaller than Arthur Brown, no?
  24. And based on reports of the Dolphins hosting Crabtree, I expect him to be gone also. That leaves Jennings and Reggie Wayne, but I don't think we take either for the time being. I think we are just going to hold still till something fantastic shakes loose as it always seems to do. I would not be surprised to see us trade a pick or two, for a young impact player - DT, WR or CB. Just feel it in my huge gut!
