  1. I really love the Webb resigning. He is a Raven and knows Pees' defense inside and out. In a pinch can be a very effective safety or nickel without much drop off, especially if he's fresh! I really think it's a win win and Webb can now retire a Raven and claim his 21 ASAP!
  2. ok then. That's that.
  3. I seriously doubt we pick Mike Williams if it is BPA we're going after. You don't pass up on Jonathan Allen who is of the Haloti Ngata breed to pick Williams imho. If Johnathan Allen is there, we surely pick him over anybody else.
  4. The Saints wouldn't pick Reddick if Barnett is available imho.
  5. Why couldn't it be a triple bluff in that the Ravens are not interested in a first round receiver at all??
  6. Here's how I see it. Round 1: BPA Round 2: BPA Round 3-1: BPA Round 3-2: BPA Round 4: BPA Round 5: BPA Round 6: BPA. That's my best guess about what the Ravens do.
  7. Seriously? Why 3rd round? The Cowboys will give up their 1st round pick in a heartbeat for a deal such as this. After witnessing what we got in trade value for Jernigan you still pose this possibility? Even trading down for the Cowboys first would be absurd in my view. The differential is 340 points between the Cowboys first and ours. That equates to pick #56 in the second round! So you believe that somebody would give up #56 to trade for Collins?? Come on man!
  8. After watching tape of Ross, its entirely possible he'll be the best WR of this draft class just going by speed, ball catching ability and being a deep threat. He can beat you so many ways. But, the only cause for concern would be his health. Can he stay healthy under the rigors of the NFL dealing with press corners, etc.? If he is proven to be durable, I think he could be stellar. Now, the question becomes do we need all that speed having Wallace and Perriman already on the team? I believe Ross to be a complete WR with just the bonus of great speed. So yes, with Flacco under center you can never stack the box with these WRs in play. This will open up the running game to make our offense potent again and give Flacco the breathing room to operate efficiently.
  9. Let's see how good Davis and Henry look this year after a year of the Ravens training program. I'm sure they're stronger, quicker than they were before. So it should all be good. Between Williams, Davis, Henry, Pierce, Kaufusi and Urban I think we have a good and versatile D-line!
  10. Mink stop with the regurgitation man! We like you but come on get original buddy.
  11. In my view, although I love Mike Williams I wouldn't pick him if Fournette is available. In my view, Fournette alters our offense much more with his presence than Williams would and I mean in a dramatic way.
  12. Don't want him at #16. Maybe if we traded down to the bottom of the first, I would like to have him but not where we pick.
  13. I don't see how he ever plays a 16 game season. He seems to be too fragile for the NFL. He's a gym rat I know, but that doesn't mean much because as I can recall one Eugene Monroe was a gym rat too.
  14. My dream picks for this draft in no particular order are Jamal Adams, Rueben Foster, Jonathan Allen and Mike Williams. But I doubt any of these guys falls to us with the most likely being Williams. So, here's to hoping one of these guys slides and we jump on this guy by drafting a few spots up and grabbing them.
  15. I really think the Jags select Jonathan Allen and not Fournette. Fournette has a chance to go to the Jets, but if they pass on him he could slide. I'm just hoping that his butt is slippery on draft day and he slides right down to us!
  16. There are 4 players I would be okay trading up for and they are: Fournette, Foster, Jamal Adams and Jonathan Allen. Other than these guys, if we stay pat I expect us to draft Barnett, Mike Williams, Corey Davis or John Ross in that order of preference. If none of these are available I would like to trade down and target a Jabrill Peppers or Cam Robinson. I don't like too many others in the first round. Tim Williams to me is a target for our #47 pick. I doubt he'll last that long, but that's where he should be picked.
  17. The problem is the coaches don't give these guys a chance to succeed till its too late. And then they're branded busts and either traded or let go. Very undisciplined way of of coaching and getting the most out of high picks. Harbaugh should be held personally responsible for these guys not becoming starters. He was the one that wanted those guys and he was the one that couldn't coach up those guys and get them ready to play.
  18. Agreed but that shouldn't stop Mangold and his agent from trying to get as much money as they can when they have a team interested. That is exactly what's going on imo. They're asking for more than the Ravens are willing to give up and now they've been asked to test the market and come back if our terms are acceptable to them or bring back a better offer so we'll see if we can match it without any promises.
  19. Let Carr play this year and Sidney Jones can be brought off the pup list in game 7 and slowly introduced back to game speed so he'll be ready to go next year. I think he's surely in play in round 2 for us. I don't think the Ravens take a chance on waiting for him till #74 of round 3 if they really want him in their plans...
  20. I believe the reason Mangold left without a contract simply has to do with money. I believe he's healthy to play which is a great thing. He will become the second coming of Matt Birk and protect the pocket space behind center for Joe to operate in. Will be a great signing if it happens.
  21. If Fournette falls past 10, I want us to trade up and nab him. He is the cure to all our offensive woes. I just believe it. He'll make Flacco look better, make the coaches look good and he'll make our offense tick like clock work. He will become the face of our franchise sooner rather than later. That's just how impressive he is and how good he can be.
  22. I think he would be an awesome Raven frankly.
  23. 16, 47, 74 and 78. Last year, DeCosta's challenge was to have the most productive 4th round in history and I think the consensus is he achieved that. This year he needs to get 4 plug and play starters with his first 4 picks!
  24. These press conferences are often so cryptic. The one thing Eric DeCosta did was to highlight the top 2 prospects of his WR board - Mike Williams and Ross. However, he either deliberately downplayed Corey or they really don't have him in their top two. My hunch is he may actually be their top guy.
  25. I just saw this on NFL network. I don't know if Carrol squashed it earlier than the GM but here is the link http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000797838/article/seahawks-gm-richard-sherman-trade-talk-news-is-real
