yeah, he did. Just took him a while to get settled in with a new system, I think. Working with Frazier, I think he'll only get better.

This right here was my exact thought him and Jimmy on the outside are going to be legit working under Frazier...

Fair enough, but I don't think blocking is really Cook's strong suit. He's a pass catching TE first and foremost. Give their Cap constraints, I just think he will still demand more than they will be wiling to pay.

Totally agree I'm juts hoping for someone either a practice squad guy or a vet thats know whats up and doesn't mind doing the dirty work

No, older and overrated.  They need a TE to be part of the mix, not a guy expecting to be the man. Cook, even at a rebate, is going to cost more than what they'll want to pay.

Boyle loses $308K in salary and the Ravens get a credit of $308K against the Cap due to the suspension (nothing like pissing away 300K!) so that's a bit of s silver lining, but it likely means that they now have to spend one of their draft picks on a TE (which they would not have otherwise done).

Like I said just a thought lol. You know how Ozzy is, and a move like this would be right up his ally. I know we might have to draft a TE but I'd much rather us go the free agent vet route. I know Gilmore is a beast at blocking but I'd like to see more of him on the move and catching the long ball from Flacco (along with Maxx), and a vet would come in for blocking and the occasional 3rd down.

  4. The Cam bashing has got to stop! If y'all knew why he left it was because the Broncos press conference was going at the same time and he couldn't hear a lot of the reporters asking hime the questions. He was smiling and everything when him and Peyton met up in the middle so I don't see the problem. The line was garbage and he had no one to throw to cause it seemed like no one could get open.

  5. Things have a good way of working out and I'm glad to see him come home. Been telling him since the draft Cleveland one up'ed us, but hey things are looking up and he'll be good. Home is where the heart is sometimes and I've know him for a long time no worries about the immaturity never was an issue. His number shall get called soon I'm sure of it...
