James Jones was cut twice, and from the Raiders no less. It's just a matter of finding the right fit. He's only 27 so maybe he could use the added motivation to train harder. Can't just count him out. Especially with the ability he has/had

I'm glad we won, and it's a terrible shame that SSS had that injury and terrible shame he's going to go out with a team that couldn't do much this year because we didn't have a good enough secondary and good enough wr group. Maybe next year, we can try to draft a corner before round 4

When? He was already given that opportunity. The only reason he was surviving was because of his special teams ability, but once he started fumbling he was cut. I said this earlier, a player doesn't deserve to see the field just because they play well on special teams. Especially not at cb. The coaching staff as seen enough of him that they would rather bring in a bum off the streets than to play him at cb, despite how bad our cbs have played.

I said this and got laughed at Asa "Ace Boogie" Jackson gotta be on the field more and special teams is just a start! Gotta get him back there in the secondary to make some plays and in the return game! The kid got some skills! Also I feel Trestman needs to go upstairs to see the field and the team better! Good special teams play doesn't translate to good cb play. He had his shot and failed. Speaks to his ability as a CB that we can lose cbs left and right and we'd rather sign one off the street than to play him

The draft. Perriman has yet to pan out, and had we known what we had in Gilmore would we still draft williams? Use those first two picks on defense, get diggs in the 4th instead of waller and we a different ball club. That's what I (emphasis on I) would change.

I think more than a few of us would be ok with the defense if they were at least generating turnovers, but I feel we've had one since the week one match up with the broncos. Defense really needs to step up. This would be the game to do it. Over matched by an opponent who on paper should dominate us. Defense gets a few turnovers and we could actually say something positive after the game. Of course, all this is wishful thinking

Its just a thought but i honestly assume they never knew about perriman's genetic knee defect during the drafting process until his injury in camp and i think if they did he probably would have been a lesser pick

Injury history was how I worded it. Meaning his knee was been a chronic problem since he was younger which I'm sure they knew about
