Perriman seems to lose concentration on the 'gimme' catches. The easy ones where hes wide open. That wont be hard to fix once he gets into camp.

No. it's a rookie camp. The Vets are all home except for Steve Smith who stuck around. Vets come the next week or so

Art brown is going to replace D.Smith.. talk all the BUST talk you want... i truly believe hes the real deal .. him and mosley for years to come

he isn't a bust in the least bit. He's just gotten the short end in my opinion. He challenged Mosley to the end for that starting job, and Mosley went on to become a pro bowl caliber player. I think that should speak to Brown's talent or at least his potential. He'll be pushed again by DePriest though. Those Bama LBs know how to ball.

thinking Brady will get a harsh punishment is almost laughable. He may get 4 games max. Kraft has Goodell in his back pocket and Brady is the NFL's "poster child". I mean he has had what...3 rules changed for his benefit?

I'm actually glad the Steelers got Dupree also (groans from our front office noted). The more I saw of him, the less I liked him. Dupree is one heck of an athlete, but he's really raw and may never pan out at the pro level (Jarvis Jones, anyone?).

 

Not trying to be a homer, but I think his former team mate Za'Darius Smith could have as good as, if not better, career. There was a reason that many scouts kept mentioning that when they put on the tape of Dupree, Smith kept leaping off the screen.

 

Not to mention how fun it would be to thank Steelers fans (who think they stole one from us) for taking him so we could get the better player 3 rounds later

similar to how Mosely panned out to be better than Shazier, wouldn't it be funny is Smith turned out to be better than Dupree?

If you watch Dupree's highlights you can see Smith's motor. However, when you watch Smith's tape you see Dupree taking plays off or getting stuck at the line of scrimage

now he can come coach these DBs...

going to be an interesting race for the HOF with he and Polomalu competing along with Patrick Willis. one thing is for sure, I will be there for Ray Lewis' induction, and Ed Reed's.

That Tray Walker pick was a bit of a stretch, the only reach pick I think. All of the draft prospect websites and experts had Walker as a 6th round to priority free agent pick....so, yeah, the Ravens need a solid veteran 3rd DB on the roster.

draft websites or Ozzie and the Ravens scouting department who spend time with these players and see them up close...who are you going to trust?

As the title suggests', the numbers were assigned! I doubt the kids were given a choice.

it's a little misleading. players can select the number they wish to wear as long as it is available and it is within the numbering restrictions, which is why you hear of rookies trying to buy numbers from vets every year

He's a tough little guy who plays physical. We have some corners with a good bit of size to them, adding a smaller, quicker corner may be that starting corner we need that also frees up Webby to play the slot where he excels. I like Dennard and although he had some legal issues early in his career I think his has managed to keep his nose clean while knocking the snot out of receivers.

6'0 isn't exactly small though

1. Maxx Williams said he was excited to be a part of Ravens Nation. That doesn't sound selfish to me

2. Hearing that we stole Williams from the Steelers makes the pick that much sweeter. I hope he carves them up for years to come.

3. Of course Jamie Dukes gives us the lowest grade out of the bunch. Could be not be more of a Ravens Hater. I'm glad I hear less from him these days. Jamie Dukes, Skip Bayless, and Heath Evans are my most hated

Just watched the Maxx williams one and the kid representing the ravens is wearing khackis no socks and dock shoes Not even a dress shirt which was unbuttoned btw and a dirty looking jacket. Seriously he looked like a dirty kid who tossed those clothes on out of the back of his 1995 honda civic after he just got done delivering pizzas!!!!! What the heck? Ravens? That was the most embarassing unprofessional pile of crap Ive ever seen on a Proffesional team site. You cant comment on the videos so this was close enough as it links to it. What the heck?? you hating on the kid for what he choses to wear? seriously? First of all it could be his style choice regardless of what you think of it. Secondly, you don't know what his situation was. Maybe he just got off the plane. I know when I fly I like to be comfortable

Ozzie is a really great GM. But he always gets all of the credit when it is the combined effort of scouts, Eric DaCosta, plenty of other staff and coaches. The whole organization needs a pat on the back, especially if we go to the SB next year.

I'm thinking Williams will start since he is a pretty good blocker. That way if Pitta can go, he can come in as a pass catcher and limit his snap count. To be honest, I think he would be crazy to come back anything less than 8 games if at all, but when you love a sport it's hard to give it up

After sleeping on it I'm starting to be more positive. Hopefully he will work hard to improve his negatives. Some of his drops were concentration drops and not lack of skills so he just has to learn to focus. Route running is coachable so I'm not concerned with that. Plus he's got Steve to coach him up if he's willing to learn.
