  1. Ravens enter the draft with a need at pass rusher and the first defensive guy they select is someone they may play at ILB. Why? Cause the guy they used a 2nd round pick on a couple of years ago is not good enough to keep an undrafted player from taking his time. That would be a mess and another bad draft considering Spence (OLB) and Jack an ILB) were available and they passed on both.

going to hurt watching them play

  2. I was admittedly frustrated the first two days since we passed on some elite level talent (on paper). 4th round made my weekend much brighter. hopefully these guys pan out. I have high hopes for Dixon. I think he will the the starter by the end of the year. He's a steal. My only question is why pass on guys with questionable character early only to select Alex Lexis who arguably has more flags than any other player not named Tunsil or Nkemdiche. Not a fan favorite draft, but definitely a solid one. We got what we needed most...depth.

  3. There are so many quality CBs in this class, that I Don't think we will go that route in the first unless Ramsey is there. I like Jack as our pick. He can play inside and out. I also wouldn't mind trading back and picking up Noah Spence. He reminds me a lot of Von Miller. We can more than likely grab one of the likes of Alexander, Jackson, Fuller, Apple, Sutton, Sanchez, Jones in the 2nd-3rd round. Ramsey and VH3 are pretty much locks for the first, but all these other guys aren't guaranteed that same luxury.

  4. I've liked Ramsey since the Miami game a season or two ago. However,  with us moving Webb to safety and having to pay him CB Money, plus Ramsey projecting better as a safety. I think they give webb a shot there. As a CB, I think Ramsey is the 3rd best at the position. Mckenzie and Sutton may not be the play makers, but they are arguably better lock down cbs. VH3 is a ball hawk, but gets beat from time to time and looks like a nickel. With all that said, Oz drafts talent, not position on most occasions and I would happily welcome Ramsey. If say Mckenzie, Ramsey and Bosa happen to be gone I really like Noah Spence. We could possibly trade back, get Spence and get Sutton or fuller early 2nd. That would be huge too because we fill two voids.

everyone is saying Jalen Ramsey is just what we need. A play-maker in the secondary. Our biggest problem in the secondary is no one can get an interception. Ramsey has only 4 picks in 3 yrs. Doesn't sound like he will help the secondary much in the take-away stats.

I thint if he plays safety he will be a star. The year FSU won the title he was all over the field as a safety. If turnovers is what we need, VH3 Is the guy, personally I like Mckenzie as the best cb. Not flashy, but absolutely locks down wrs. Webb playing full time safety should generate more turnovers as well.

So much elite talent at the top of this Draft. If we have the opportunity to draft Tunsil, Bosa, Ramsey, Mack, or Jaylon Smith, how could we possibly trade back? If we really want to draft a corner Round 1 and pass up on those guys, that would be the only thing that makes any sense. I could see us moving back to 10th-13th and drafting a CB there.

Mckenzie or VH One of those two will like fall just outside the top 10 depending on where ramsey and one of the before mentioned fall. All 3 cbs won't be top 10, and all 3 could be immediate starters on a football team. I think VH is the better ball hawk, but more of a nickle, while Mckenzie can lock down a side. I personally think he's the best cb in the draft. Ramsey is the best athlete, but he isn't as great a cb as the others. (not to say he can't be elite at the position). By far the best safety though.

  7. What do you guys think about trying to draft Braxton miller? I'd say he will probably play his way into the 2nd with how he's performing at the senior bowl, and how he'll do at the combine. Interesting development guy. He has natural ability to make an immediate impact, and as he starts to polish as a wr he could be a really good one. Been watching the senior bowl practices, and he's putting dbs on skates.

  8. Part of it is playing better; part of it is getting to play the Browns, Jags, Rams' backup QB & Dolphins after firing their OC. If they hold the Seahawks to below 25 I'll be shocked, considering they just hung at least 38 in consecutive weeks, including against the Vikings' good defense.

Yeah, but the seahawks (and chief's for that matter) have generated offense off of the running game. They SHOULDN'T be able to run the ball against us, which should make things easier on the D. Seahawks don't exactly have all stars at wr. Talk all you want about the Jags and Dolphins, but they had better weapons at WR. Steelers and Bengals games worry me, but we always come to play against division rivals

  9. I think "childish" is Daddy Harbaugh even giving out "stickers" in the first place. I'm sure they all get some milk and cookies, either way. Unless they are in the Doghouse.  :(

No offense, but I'm guessing you weren't an athlete. This isn't childish, this breeds competition. Competition pulls better play from your players. I don't care how old you are, bragging rights are bragging rights.

  10. If you start throwing games, what do you think would happen to this team moving forward? You would see a lack of motivation in trying times. Go through a 3 game losing streak next season and players will start to believe the season is over. You never want to bred defeat in your team, because when things look gloomy they won't have the fight to carry through. Do you think we win that game in Denver if the year before we started playing for Drafting position? I don't. What's the point have having mottos such as, "play like a Raven" when you don't live by it? Keeping this team motivated like it is will only make us stronger moving forward.

  11. Truly glad I'm not a Brown's fan but you never know what happened there. I got a horrid memory but didn't we cut OLB Harrison for maturity issues (shame we didn't try just a tad longer with him)

That's a good point, but he was also cut from the steelers too so there was more to that situation. I just feel the Browns are nervous after the josh gordon debacle, which is also why they're making such a big deal about Manziel. Based off what was in the lighr, west had never been in trouble. Now, like you said, what happens behind closed doors is different. All in all, I'm happy he's now a Raven as we wanted him over Taliaferro anyway.

  12. Quote "But Clay became a staple on ESPN’s “Not Top 10” when he, in a rivalry game against Oregon, celebrated too early and dropped the ball a yard short of the end zone, only to have it returned 99 yards for a touchdown by the Ducks."

Where I work the management would disipline him with a 20 day suspension. It's amazing how pro sports players can get chances and I am happy the Ravens recognized his whole body of skills rather than the 1% negative.

Not trying to bash, but how do the two correlate? It's not like he got suspended for drugs or anything. While it's a bone headed play, it comes down to simply being a fumble. I want to know why this play is such a big deal for a college kid, but no one talks about DeSean Jackson making the same mistake as a pro
