  1. Givens was a starter and very solid for the Rams, but two first round picks and an injury pushed him down their depth chart.
  2. Having Givens start should open things up for the offense
  3. He's still in his rookie contract so I doubt they simply let him go next year, but I am interested to see if he's worth it. He's pretty raw in his route running, but hopefully he's been hitting film study hard because he has the size and speed.
  4. Its still irrelevant though. Yeah he isn't playing for the season, but we still have him for the future. Where as the Pats won't have a pick at all. And again, it's not like any other first round wr other than cooper is playing this year. No one is blarring (interesting word choice) I seemly said the argument doesn't make a lot of sense imo.
  5. All this talk about Perriman's injury, and you want to bring in Percy Harvin? Jeffries would be a dope signing, but he likely going to get a Thomas type contract which I don't think we would be able to match
  6. While bortles is turnover prone, he still carves up defenses. Granted they play from behind a lot, but hurns and robinson has been arguably the best wr duo in the league this year. We might be able to cause some turnovers, but we'll have our hands full trying to stop those two.
  7. the first part of your quote doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Yeah, we probably lost him for this season, but that doesn't mean we lost a pick unless he just decides to retire. He still has all of next season, and the next two seasons after that to play out his contract. I was against the pick from the start, but no wr in the first round of this past draft has started more than 3 games other than Cooper.
  8. #2 spot belongs to buck
  9. Hearing docs are saying it's not safe for pitta to play again. Honestly, might be the best thing for him. He re-injured his hip without being touched last time he was cleared. That's scary
  10. Learning experience. I'm thinking he's been humbled, and may even have a chip on his shoulder now to play harder.
  11. Naturally haha
  12. Yes the Ravens suck at drafting wr, but i think you missed his point. White and Parker were both supposed to be a sure thing. Some even had white over cooper. Nelson Ag. and dorsett were supposed to be steals. I'm extremely frustrated with the Perriman situation, but you can't predict injury
  13. Sadly, this is probably right...
  14. Give him another shot at returning. I would say hold off on letting him play corner. I mean we have been absolutely horrible against the pass, and have pulled guys from the street before giving Asa a shot. He may not be any worse, but he definitely won't be any better. I will say the kid is a play maker. If he keeps grinding, he can get another shot at corner eventually.
  15. Just shut him down. Give him more time to strengthen his ligaments. No need to rush him back and risk injuring him further. We're going to need more help at wr anyway, especially if Steve retires, probably end up drafting a wr in later rounds like 3-7
  16. No worries, wasn't being a jerk, just looking for clarification
  17. You might be right, but why wait so long? If he gets surgery now, he likely won't be ready by next season's start
  18. Those 2 games definitely cost us, but if we take care of business the 2nd half of the season, then a wild card is not out of reach.
  19. What does this have to do with the quote you responded to?
  20. Green bay's oc from just a few seasons ago just got fired in Miami, and new England runs through quite a few OCs. Josh McDaniels is in his second stay with the patriots. Head coaches don't change on winning teams, but assistant coaches change regardless of winning or losing. Whether they get fired, or get head coaching jobs somewhere. And to answer your questions, we're ranked 10th in offense. Would probably be better if not for injury, so I say it's turned out ok.
  21. Are we really tied for 6th? must be down here for sacks.
  22. Yeah that's true, but I'm referring to the 49ers game for instance where they purposely targeted wright. Anyway, as they say, hindsight is 20/20
  23. Yeah, I agree with that assessment. Man having Peters would have given us another win or two.
  24. To be fair, Darby had a first round grade and slide to the second if my memory serves me correctly. However, I agree. There wasn't any better talent left on the board. I just wish they had taken diggs over waller
  25. Pretty sure we can bring back jacoby for cheap now right? Fills two voids (although ross as been a decent returner)
