  1. Update: CB Lardarius Webb (thigh) is doubtful. The rest - Dumervil, Forsett, Gillmore, Smith Sr., Givens and Yanda are questionable.

So no #2 CB, Top pass rusher,#1 RB,#1 TE, top RG, WR and other WR.

We're gonna get destroyed. Torrey might have a career day. Who on our roster Besides Brooks can even ATTEMPT to keep up with Torrey? I'm expecting to be 1-5 by Sunday night.

let's not overestimate colin kaepernick's ability to find the open man in time and deliver him the ball.  he can be rattled quite easily and he's slow in his progressions.

  2. if cinci can hang 30 on the raiders before they do anything, (at their own house, even), we certainly can do some damage.  (because we DO see ourselves as at least equal to the bengals right?).

i firmly believe we can and will win the next 2 games and have about a 50% of beating the steelers at Heinz (anything can and usually does happen when we play them).

  3. i watched a replay of the week 3 game in cleveland last night on nfl network and a few things struck me (besides it being a very good game).

    1.  torrey smith made some excellent plays in that game, i hope we won't miss his production

    2. i'm glad we still have steve smith and i hope and pray we get pitta back.

    3. jacoby jones has trouble catching the ball

    4. matt elam missed tackles and always seemed to be in the wrong place.

keep in mind, this was only this game i was observing, and it's different when you re-watch a game, as you look at elements you might not have before when caught up in the moment of winning vs. losing.

  4. norv doesn't actually have a "winning" pedigree. just reading his history on his wiki page reveals a pretty lackluster overall body of work, peppered with many losing seasons (both as HC and OC).   i honestly don't think he's our answer.  we need somebody to really shake things up.  (similar to what chip kelly did with the eagles but obviously not a chip kelly type offense)

  5. graphics are noticeably better...it's not a sea change but it's pretty obvious.  (of course, i upgraded my tv along with the consoles but that was just recently).   a lot of stuff can be happening on the screen at the same time without noticeable lag like before.   the library of games is real small at the moment so i wouldn't take the plunge just yet unless you're a diehard. i simply couldn't wait even though i know i should have.

  6. One noteworthy bit of information that I've noticed is that the disconnect between the users and the critics has been particular prevalent during this launch.  I don't believe any of the games have a good user score on Metacritic.  I thought there'd be at least one, and maybe if there weren't serious issues with Battlefield 4's launch there would be.

i got both systems and played/bought all the launch titles.  the most impressive overall game to me is dead rising 3 while the best looking game, (and best shooter) is battlefield 4 (on the ps4).
