Trade:
Buffalo Bills - Thad Lewis, QB (0.5s)
Atlanta Falcons - 6th Round (166) & 7th Round (198) (1s)
With the way Quarterbacks normally slide in this I was hoping Bortles would slide all the way to #31, but hey.
Still got a number of highly rated players on my board and at least a few should be there.
Putting contingency trades in place really isn't that difficult or time consuming.
I see the Jaguars copied me by signing Dekoda Watson in real life.
The real life teams never make the same moves I do.
I like to think they're stupid for doing so.
Also he has EJ Manuel at QB so Bortles.
Even though Manuel was one of my guys from last year, I'm not exactly sold on him (I took him in the 4th, so I didn't exactly envision a Franchise QB).
That was a closer guess than any Receiver or DB.
Having added Barr I'm VERY happy with the talent on my defense, I feel I have top quality play-makers at every level.
Sorry about the hold up guys, but the pick is in.
Went with the top player on my board. CB and WR never really came in to it. I have Gilmore and Floyd as my respective #1's, with Roby and Woods as slot options. Not spending a top 10 pick on a #2 at either position.
There's no pressure or attention on Barr given the rest of my front seven, which I think should really help him develop.
The the 9th Overall pick of the 2014 Forum Mock Draft, The Buffalo Bills Select:
Anthony Barr, DE/OLB, UCLA

Hate you guys lol. Was the swap of 2nds really necessary? I'm pretty sure that was just to give me more work!
lol That it was. We just wanted to keep you on your toes.
Translation:

The 9th overall pick is potentially on the block depending on available players.
Can put a contingency trade in place.
Draft should start tonight. If I let you guys...
You have Usain Bolt with "Teddy Bridgewater, Quarterback, Louisville" written on your card just waiting to get to that podium. Don't lie.
Bet you already have the picture picked out and everything.
…not really.
As long as Bortles makes it to me, I'm good.
well i was just messing around with our most trusty auditor lol...
though 9rs did jump from 31 to 18 last year (13 places) using pick 73 lol...
That was in a class with mediocre top end talent that people wanted to avoid. Only a handful of First Rounders from last year would've gone in the first this year.
Pick 2 will come in pretty quickly as well

so any decision on who won the SB of free agency? lol...
i'm all in to start the draft tonight, RayTheDay is on the clock lol...
*Crushmore is on the clock. Bridgewater is a Jag.
said for a week now, i'm shopping a forth rounder alongside pick 17
A move like that would probably require a 2nd round pick, not a 4th.
I can't judge the 49ers until after the Draft. Sooo many picks.
I'm in a similar position; 11 picks, 5 in the top 100, two 1sts.
I now have completed 19 trades.
I'll give you #9 for #1 straight up to get you to a nice round 20?
Looking to trade Jeff Tuel & Thad Lewis.
Lewis looked like a competent backup in Buffalo and comes at a minimum 0.5s. Willing to deal in multiple late picks saving you cap while landing you a solid backup.
Same goes for Tuel.
Bills Give:
3rd Round Pick (#95)

4th Round Pick (#110)

Nickell Roby for Nickel lol.
He was my favorite steal of the draft last year, picked him up at the end of round 7. He's quite good.
Very much an under-the-radar guy, but I'm definitely happy to have him. He ultimately made McKelvin expendable.
McKelvin is pretty good but sheesh.
That's why I wasn't overly thrilled about letting him move on, but he's only had that one good season and he'll be 29 before this season starts. Decided to sell high.
The fact I have Gilmore as a #1 and Roby for Nickel just leaves me needing a solid #2, which I should be able to pick up.

Hey, I gave him McKel...
You might just be right.
