I dislike the pick for a number of reasons;
I don't think ILB is a valuable position in today's league.
Mosley has medical red flags.
Even if he pans out, good ILBs can be found throughout the draft, they don't need to be taken mid-first.
The quality of player in this draft. I personally didn't have Mosely as a First Rounder.
Alabama players have a tendency to cap at being solid role players or just busting completely (Upshaw, Barron, Jackson, Carpenter, Ingram, Richardson, Cody, Arenas, Kirkpatrick, Hightower). Of all the highly touted Alabama players only Dareus, Jones and Lacey have lived up to their billing.
I respect Ozzie and our front office as much as anyone else, but please remember that they're human. They make mistakes, as evidenced by their not having drafted a Pro Bowl player since 2008. The only other teams to do that have fired at least one front office staff since. I'm in no way saying that should happen, just pointing out how poor the drafting has been the past few years.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't be happy with Ozzie, just don't blindly follow "In Ozzie We Trust". You can have a different opinion on players. It's not illegal and it shouldn't result in people being called out.
The draft is as much luck as it is skill. Remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if they can back it up with tangible facts/evidence then I don't see where the problem is.
Enjoyed it this year, but felt that I had enough decisions to make with the players already on my roster.
On a Mt Crushmore annoying note, Mike Mayock currently has Mr #100 (Jimmy Garoppolo) ahead of Bridgewater in his QB rankings.
I look forward to seeing team evaluations.
I'll at least get a mention for the sheer number of picks I made.
I normally enjoy UDFA, but not sure if I'm going to participate this year.
I think 14 rookies may just be enough...
Complete luxury pick, seeing as I didn't really need more defensive linemen, but I had DeAndre Coleman at the top of my board by some distance.
Provides more depth to my rotation and should, at the very least, be a solid 2-down run stuffer.
With the 224th Pick of the 2014 Forum Mock Draft the Buffalo Bills select:
DeAndre Coleman, DT, California

Huh, not long left until I'm up again with my last pick.
Figuring out who I'll add to; Anthony Barr, Davante Adams, Troy Niklas, Jaylen Watkins, Cyril Richardson, Jimmy Garoppolo, Ka'deem Carey, Adrian Hubbard, Travis Carrie, Ronald Powell, Russell Bodine, Kadeem Edwards and Tajh Boyd...
Since you seem to be collecting QB's, I have an old in age but young in NFL terms player that I can send your way...
Pensioner isn't young on any terms.
Good pick in Boyd. I see him challenging E.J. Manuel for the starting spot.
3 way battle between Manuel, Garoppolo and Boyd.
Just put the pick in after a slight delay (had to recover 34 pages of my girlfriends dissertation, heart in mouth stuff).
You have to go to the draft thread to bask in the controversy.
With the 201st Pick of the Forum Mock Draft the Buffalo Bills select:
Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson

Just deciding between 2 players. One would be pretty controversial.
More...offensive...linemen...
Vikes are up then it's me again.
With the 199th Pick of the 2014 Forum Mock Draft the Buffalo Bills select:
Kadeem Edwards, OG, Tennessee State

The Buffalo Bills Cut:
Adam Carriker, DE, 0.5s
Torrell Troup, DT, 0.5s
Trade:
Buffalo Bills - 7th Round (Pick 212)
Eagles - 7th round (Pick 199) & Cam Thomas (2s)
Went with Bodine as the top interior lineman on my board.
Can backup all interior positions while being a potential heir to the average Eric Wood.
With the 198th Pick of the 2014 Forum Mock Draft the Buffalo Bills select:
Russell Bodine, C, North Carolina

You stole my guy Crush. You stole the man I had pegged as the Bills local hero.
Looking at the prospects still available, I'm glad I ended up hanging on to all my 7th round picks...
Looking to package two 7ths to move up to the tail end of the 6th.
Jeff Tuel anyone?
I'm sure a few people will prefer him to the remaining Quarterbacks left.
Needed depth at DE/rush linebacker and Powell fits both nicely. I have a 4th round grade on him, assuming that he checks out physically.
Lots of athleticism and upside to work with for a 6th round guy, his attitude is a little worrying though.
With the 177th pick of the 2014 Forum Mock Draft the Buffalo Bills select:
Ronald Powell, DE/OLB, Florida
