I watched a mermaid documentary late last night (that explains why I watched it in the first place) on Animal Planet. It was interesting, I had a gripe and reasonable skepticism for just about every amount of evidence they used, though. And it doesn't help that I found most of the recordings look faked. But that being said there was ver compelling logic behind some of the theories and evidence that they explain in the documentary. If you are interested in that kind of mythical stuff, I'd recommend it. There was on video in particular they talked about after the documentary aired that had my attention. I cant find the video anywhere, but it happened on March 6 of this year. 3 Danish guys were in a submarine doing sonar tests 3,000 feet under water when they heard something they didnt recognize, so they did some research and watched the aforementioned documentary and realized what they had heard was mentioned in the documentary and called a "bloop". So they went back down north of were they heard the noise. They brought 2 video cameras and went down there frequently for 7 months; they finally cought something on extremely frightening. After they played the "bloop" recording, a webbed hand made a thump on the submarine and after a few seconds pushed off and darted away. Its supposed to be the most prolific amount of evidence of mermaids yet. Idunno, I like this kind of stuff haha.
