SSS has heart.
Back to penalties!!! Harbs you might want to think about cutting down on the penalties in practice this next week.
However in the end-zone it was PI against Aiken and earlier in the game a PI against Wallace was not called but This loss was a team loss not a referee loss.
Cowboys are no joke the Ravens better be ready for a physical 60 minute game!

Look back at the last six ( at least) times we have played the Browns. They play us TOUGH. Very tough.
I am not saying we don't have a chance or anything like that. I am saying, this is going to be a difficult game. I saw we win, but not easily and not a blow out.
Your absolutely right the Browns do play the Ravens tough....the Ravens and their fans need to be aware of that because if they over look the Browns it will be a long week after a Thursday night game. I think if the Ravens play like they did today they have a good shot at a second straight win. But the Ravens cant over look the Browns...

That was ALL on him. It would have been 1st and goal the play before but stupid penalty backs us up and the very next play Joe throws the pick.
Great team WIN!!! Good to have the o-line back together and some of the key defensive guys back on the field.

Not enough to demand an expensive contract- but just enough to make us want to retain him for another 2 years on a very team friendly deal. And then next season he just takes off and lights it up. Atleast this is what we should hope for. He's obviously had a resurgence in confidence. Let's hope he has a resurgence in tackling ability.
Smitty is one of the few players who doesn't need to even practice at all to suit up Sunday. He might not get as many snaps but I expect him to be active. One limited practice and one full (albiet a light walkthrough) should be a good sign that he's gonna give it a go. Then again we have another game 4 days from Sunday so its hard to say. Obviously this game Is more important though and suggs and Smitty fully understand the importance of getting this W.
Exactly. The running game HAS to be humming, and we CANNOT rely on Joe to throw the ball 45-50 times. A defensive or special teams score ( or both) would certainly help too. We've come close on defense a few times and fell short. If Hester struggles AT ALL I guarantee he will be toast and campanaro will be back on the squad by Monday. If he muffs one ball yank him and don't even let him finish the game. Let's hope he feels the heat and instead of choking he steps up and shows us why we brought him here in the first place. We've got to be clicking on all 3 phases to win this game.
A few guys that i think may have a sneaky big game are Dixon and Waller. The O line is back intact and the steelers are most vulnerable to the running game and tight ends. West will carry the load but Dixon will be a nice change of pace and bust open a few big ones.Talioferro will convert some crucial short yardage situations for us as well. I'm expecting those 3 to be active. Esp since tali contributes on ST. Gillmore's out so Waller will inevitability be expected to make some plays. Let's see if he steps up and executes. Throw him the ball in the endzone and let him go up and get it!
Good points and I agree we cant rely on Joe throwing the ball that many times. Joe can win in this league but when he throws that many times usually means we have stopped trying to run the ball and we are 1 dimensional at that point and get beat.
This would be a great week for the Ravens to get back on track and get a much needed win. We all know though the Ravens cant play the type of game they have been playing the last few weeks and come out with a win against the Steelers. THAT'S JUST A FACT!!! That's from top to bottom coaching down to the practice squad every one better be on their game because we all know the Steelers are going to bring it they always do when they play the Ravens.
I think most fans want him back at guard.

Now you got to ask yourself are they communicating with him and playing to his strengths?

I wont even argue with you on that. We have heard it quite a bit the last few years. The only thing I can say is the team not the core part of the team but the team changes every year guys leave and new guys come in but the guys who have been here for a while should have a lot of this stuff figured out. It is now officially mid-season and pretty much what you got is what you got. I wont blame Joe for everything he has his things like the 2 int's were all on him but he is getting his butt handed to him that's why his shoulder is hurting now. I have watched Joe hit guys in the hands and between the numbers on multiple throws and a lot of times they don't catch a completely catch-able ball.
A few of the players said it best and it is totally true every player has got to look at themselves and fix what they are messing up on. If they honestly do that then it will carry over on the field for the team. Football is the ultimate team sport. Each guy has got to be accountable for their role on the team. The 2 int's were on Joe but hey he was getting chased and jacked up quite often and that falls on the O-Line. If the ball is thrown to you and it is catch-able then catch it if you don't then that's on you. Thats just the offense. The defense has got to get to the QB and they got to tackle and cover their player or section of the field. JUST FACTS!!! Coaches have got to call the right formations and plays depending on the situation. Every thing I said above is why we have lost the last 4 games....

Problem #1*****
OFFENSIVE LINE
You can't run and control the game without it.
You can't pass effectively without it.
Offense looks like this without it.
Time to draft a few new guys for this even if we have to trade up to get quality guys.
1 minute ago, GrimCoconut said:I'm sick of this team losing. I like Flacco and the OL is a problem because Zuttah looked terrible today but the OL doesn't make you throw 2 INT and it doesn't make you throw the ball poorly. His WR aren't playing well, but Flacco is even not throwing well to Pitta and that's strange. Flacco needs to get his act together or honestly we should bench him to get him to chill out because he's also letting the bad OL get to him. He's not the only one to blame because Perriman needs to man up and learn to run a route and also needs to learn to secure the catch. There's a lot wrong with this team and it's pissing me off now.
It's doing that to a lot of people now.
Just now, RavensPunkXVX said:Harbaugh: "we didn't play winning football.."
That quote can be used for the last month. 4 games 1 game a week thats SAD!!!
1 minute ago, AppStRavenfan said:Stanley has been practicing for a week and a half
Thank you for the info. I am just wondering why he was not playing with a week and a half of practice.
How bad is Stanley's and Yanda's injuries? anyone hear anything or is this another Perriman thing going on here and in a couple weeks they go on IR?
Anyone want to talk playoffs? lol sorry I could not resist.
I feel like our team is the Raiders of the 80's get tons of penalties and cant win a game to save their lives.
Bad going into our bye week losing the last 4 games.......
UGLY!!!
Flacco's 2 pics are all on him...
The O-line looks horrible anyone who watched the game saw Flacco constantly under pressure and getting tripped by his own lineman 2 times causing him to fall when trying to hand off the ball.
Still too many penalties and dumb mistakes shooting themselves in the foot.
3-4 enough said I guess the work being put in is just not enough we have had this bad tase in our mouths for 4-weeks now DAMB that's a month.
The good Wallace.
It's time to show everyone what you got... Go out and play like Ravens.
If he has not earned more playing time / snaps then dont play him you suite up and play the best you got PERIOD!!! Dont get me wrong I want to see him more too but not at the exspence of sitting a guy who has earned his play time.
The thing is people have been let go this year for not doing their job. The end of the 3rd quarter and begining of the 4th quarter the whole offense did not do their job...PERIOD!!!

Time to wake up Ravens!!! We are still in the playoff mix. Not for long if they keep shooting themselves in the foot.
