4 preseason games gives coaches the opportunity to thoroughly evaluate their starters for areas that need improvement and also gives them an opportunity to evaluate those 2 or 3 string players that are just on the cusp- that kind of evaluation can only take place during game time, not in practice or on film.

My take is this- the officer overreacted, the initial investigation was closed too quickly which only added fuel to the fire, one article, one tv news report, and one candlelight vigil is enough already. And now, two, count them two?!, prosecutors have been assigned to the case- that's ridiculous.

I wish people would stop confusing two completely different issues and drawing irrational parallels between them
