I don't see us beating NE so we basically have to win out otherwise...........unless Pit loses again but they have an easier schedule than us by far.
Dolphins are 6th in pass defense and 30th against the run. Its going to be in the 40s and raining on sunday. The run game needs to bust out in a big way. It's been doing better lately but we need it to dominate this week. Dolphin OL is super banged up so really this game comes down to line play.
Plus Jimmy is back at practice............
If I'm going to stand out in the cold butt rain they better win.............

Except for that one bonehead 4th down call that we happened to convert.. We have been mostly not going for it on 4th. And I feel like we've held more comfortable leads since we changed that

True, getting healthy will help but not sure how you stop making stupid plays. This team is its own worst enemy and rivals the bad news bears at times.

what a great combination.
Thats what happens when you are top 5 in the league in dead money.
The ravens don't have the cap room to sign anyone big and are still in the playoff hunt so won't be selling. I don't expect any trades from us.

Agreed, you are what your record says you are until proven otherwise.

Lets hope this "precision" Marty is talking about includes showing Breshad how to run routes properly. Both Of Joe's interceptions against the Jets were meant for BP.

I would be SHOCKED if he is on the roster for the Browns game (unless he does something crazy like return 2 TDs vs. Steelers). I think after the Steelers, he will be cut and Campanaro will be added. And if Campanaro decides to sign elsewhere, I think we ride Webb or bring in Asa Jackson
Hester is there because we don't have many other viable options. Webb can do punts but he's not explosive at all.
We really need our oline back to get the run game going and protect Joe better. Everyone needs to play better, period. Reducing self inflicted wounds is a close second behind good oline play.
We really need to get healthy because our backups simply can't hack it, especially on the oline. I see some new blood coming in next year for oline and db.
Our oline is getting whipped every week.
6 rushing yards for the game
42 total yards in the second half.
embarrassing.....
Looks like we will be seeing alot of KC this sunday. I think if both sizzle and doom are out albert needs to be outside and KC inside unless CJ somehow comes back.

He says sno-cone though.
You can play half a game and still get a whole sno-cone.
+ infinity
West is definitely playing well don't get me wrong. Based upon what I saw in preseason though Dixon has more home run potential

My dad used to reward me with 7-11 pizza when I played a good game. Maybe try that?

No different than John accepting the penalty in the Raiders game instead of allowing them to kick a FG. He gives his defense a 3rd and 17 from like the 35 yard line. He's giving his defense an opportunity to make a play that will keep points off the scoreboard entirely.
And what does the defense do? Give up a 16 pass, then jump offsides like 12 year olds on a hard count, then give up another like 20 yards for a TD. Hardly executing well wouldn't you say?
Here is the million dollar question though..........
How do you get professional football players to stop doing stupid Crap?
He has been back for 2 games and his touches have been really low. Anybody else want to see more? Maybe some plays that get him into space? Somebody has to be a playmaker around here.
13 minutes ago, mmcclend said:Nice point man and although I disagree I actually respect your opinion. It's worth debating forsure considering our lack of success going for it. But converting that play tells a coach a lot about his team. So I think the right call is to go. But like I said, your point is valid.
I don't know, maybe if we give them the bal at the 25 after a fg they still score, who knows. All I know is that taking points off the board combined with the other mistakes we are making just sets us back so far.
15 minutes ago, GrimCoconut said:He's not a shutdown corner but he shutdown Beckham and Cooper? I know you're defending him here but Jimmy Smith is absolutely, positively a shutdown corner. Does he get beat sometimes? Yeah he does. Name me a shutdown corner who doesn't get beat because they all do.
Some on here would disagree with you but I am defending him here. He's obviously our best cb and I'd take him over most others in the league.
Couple of questions here.
You guys don't think the game is different with 3 points on the board considering how the game ended?
Doesn't past perfromance usually dictate future decisions? We have failed multiple times in similar situations this season.
7 minutes ago, OUravensfan said:He's a damn good player and it sucks he got hurt because we probably win with him just like we probably win in 2014 against the Patriots
Hopefully he gets through concussion protocol because I shudder to think about what Brandon Marshall will do with our other guys.
Just now, PurpleCity5 said:He's super important to this defense. I don't know why people like to hate on him. Yeah, he's not a shutdown CB this year but he's still a good CB and I would take that over what we have without him. I hope the bench Jimmy crowd has died out.
After seeing what we are without him I sure hope so.
I was literally screaming at my tv on the 4th and goal. Way to early to be chasing points. If we can't convert 4th downs or trick plays we need to just stop. its becoming a theme.
