Should have gone after Mike McCoy OC and Rex Ryan DC. I knew it wouldn't change. Ozzie better spend some money. Proven FA's in their first shot at it. Weddle cost us the Steelers game. We sure missed Daryl Smith.
Get new blood.. What a humiliating loss. We are no better with the current roster. Spend some money Ozzie. We don't need injury prone players. The smart players know how to avoid them. Spend to win. Quit trying to lowball the championship.
Where was Weddle on the Pats? Pro Bowl? Not in the Ed Reed dictionary of pro bowlers. Better than Chykie or ASA Jackson but not by much in the clutch.
I thought Marty was smarter than that. He has to take into consideration why Trestman was let go. Trestman was passing too much. Things sure haven't changed much.
I thought "Great" we have it sewn up...while following the game on gametrax. Then it said the PASS from Joe Flacco was intercepted. I still don't believe it. At least it didn't cost us the Super Bowl like the dumb play Pete Carroll called.

Hester lost his nerve. Same thing happened to Jacoby. I wouldn't want that job. You gotta be nuts...Belichick did a number on us. Jumping Morgan on the FG to end Tucker's streak was a designed play. Film study. Think we can run the table and make the playoffs?
Hester got the momentum going the wrong way early. Like Jacoby Jones, when you lose it you lose it. A big league hitter who can no longer catch up to the fastball. He was worth a try. We had no one else. Definitely a void on this years team. Return men have been a big part of our Championship teams. We have a weak link that needs to be filled before next game. Fat chance. Put somebody out their to make a fair catch. That is better than shying away from a return.
We need good play from our secondary to beat the Pats. Brady torches a soft secondary. Preventing the fast scores on long plays is a must. I think we can run the ball on them if our RB's are patient. Don't take any points off the board. Kick the FGs in this one. If we can defeat the Pats we could go all the way.
If we go .500 from here on out we may win the division. As far as the playoffs go, we need to have the hot shoe to make the big dance. Flacco may be settling in. Same for the o line. Two factors we need to have success. We can now lose to the Cowboys and still have a chance. Wonderful !!
Injuries are killing us. Start Mallett until we're healthy. Get some discipline...Every week a different player makes a bone head play. Since Harbaugh refered to the "Hand of God" we are 0-4. More like "What the hell is going on out there?" That makes a little more since after seeing the past 4 games.
We should see a major improvement in play calling. Marty has had similar offenses and done well with them. Trestman was an opportunity that failed. Here comes the running game. It's about time.
Steve Bischoti needs to make the move at OC for John. Steve had to fire Cam. Rex Ryan was smart enough to see it and make the move in Buffalo. John will never do it, so I'm calling out Steve to once again step in. It won you a trophy the last time you did it.
Example...Rex Ryan made a quick move in Buffalo because his offense was out of sync. Hint. Remember that John never would have fired Cam. Time for the owner to step in and make the move at OC for John while the season is still young. Where was the "hand of god" today? That statement shows that Harbaugh knows we've been very lucky. Steve. Take a hint from Rex. Make the move for John.
We need Smith Sr. Because every time John takes points off the board we seem to lose. The trick play this week. It takes the fire out of our defense. Without our best receiver it hurts even more. Could be Harbaughs' last year as HC.
I hope Stanley can play. The O line is hurting. Dixon and Doom are back. That should help. I'll bring back a bad memory....When the Colts left town the Sun covered the Skins. Yuk. Hope we win 41-17.
What are we going to do when we start facing the good teams? This better be a wake up call to Harbaugh. We might be lucky enough to go 8-8 without a major change. If we don't beat the Skins, one better happen.
Smith almost never drops a tough catch. NoFear.
Key take of tonight::
You won't win many games in the NFL if you don't have an O-line.
Won't win many games in the NFL without a pass rush. Our trenches are questionable at best.
The run/pass balance has to change. But we have fallen behind early for 3 straight games and that gives Trestman reason to throw. We've been playing catch up and this week it finally caught up. If we fail to beat DC next week I would do what Rex did in Buffalo before it's too late. Get a new OC. We need all the wins we can get before the final 4 games to have any chance of making the playoffs.
We need to make changes on both lines. Still time to get it going. Joe needs a comfort zone but seldom has one. And the pass rush was embarrasing. Look at the time Carr had to throw the winning TD. Keep in mind...Our last quarter of the regular season is brutal. Playoffs?
And to think that if Cudiff hadn't opened his big mouth Tucker may have been passed over for the veteran. Cundiff was having a good pre season vs Tucker, but Billy was unreliable under pressure. I was never so happy to hear someone say they would "take their services elsewhere" as Billy. Tucker's remarkable under pressure. The Wolfpack rules !
8 hours ago, Rav'n Maniac said:The zone blocking scheme is no longer as effective since the NFL eliminated cut blocks this year. Without the cut blocks, running lanes don't open up as much as they were.
Interesting.
First and foremost, I'm concerned about the pass protection. But what has happened to the zone block scheme that was so successful in the run game? I thought Trestman was suppose to continue with it. Improve upon it. I don't see it. Trestman is no Gary Kubiak.
Love that the Browns writer predicted no playoffs for the Ravens. Really? Why don't you just stay focused on the Browns and how they are 5 years away from being 5 years away.
I liked that too. The Cleveland media is about as smart as the Browns and the Browns fans. I'm proud the Ravens are considered by the NFL and the Ravens franchise to be an expansion team. We have no ties to those losers. Think Ted Marchibroda would have been hired as head coach had Art stayed in Cleveland? That they would have drafted J.O. and Ray in the 96 draft? I laugh when a Browns fan says that the 2000 SB Champs were their team. Some Browns fans are still saying that to this day. They make me laugh too

What do the players know? Mike McCoy OC and Rex Ryan DC. The players would have a new motivation. McCoy ran a great offense in Denver. Injuries plagued him in SD. Rex is a motivator. The Ravens need motivation. We looked stale half the time. We were. The last game was a preview of next year.
