  1. Sadly, I felt like I was watching a Ravens fourth quarter. Falcons had the game, but you cannot let Brady/Belicek have their way at the end of the game. We are pretty good at the 2 minute drill , but lately just not getting it done. Cannot let primo QBs get downfield to score, they will do it and win. With all that, I still think Joe is the better QB. Imagine what he could do with a guys like Julio , Sunu , or even a couple of great O line guys. That would open up some holes to let the Dixon/West team do something for our running game. Hope we get some good pieces of the puzzle solved in the draft.
  2. Well he certainly has the passion for the game. i would love to see him with our Ravens in some capacity. I think he could be inspirational and a great mentor for any defensive unit. He had great field instincts and I believe he can personally connect with the players. I know he is a student of the game and was always watching films. Of course he did have extraordinary talent and showed it on every play. Could he get that across to younger guys? Let's see what happens....
  3. Seriously? As a worker, I hate for anyone to be fired, but Marty is not the answer. We need someone to connect with Joe, big time. We need point s on the board, bottom line. Pees is just ok, just have to find a way to close out fourth quarter collapses.
  4. When push comes to shove, Joe can show up. The problems are many. yes, sometimes the accuracy isn't there, because he is not good under blitz pressure. He is a QB who needs time to make the play in the pocket. i still think he needs a great QB coach who he can connect with. He has had a new OC almost every year, no consistency. dropped balls are a problem, we need some guys with great hands as well as speed. Big plays to open the field would help. Of course bottom line is, get in the end zone. Many times I wish we could get in the red zone. But then we need to score TDs. Joe can do it, he needs help on both sides of the game, quality players and coaches.
  5. Hard to go one way or the other, we have some great pieces of both. I think couching is still our downfall. But look at who is in the playoffs, all of those teams have superstars, receivers and backs. We do not. They also have the ability to make big plays to open the field and score TDs , we didn't , Thanks to Tucker, we are in the game, but more points are needed to win. Work on the O line, that will give Joe time to get off the right play, he always looks like he is unsure. He needs time in the pocket to make things happen. W
  6. I agree, Elam should go. love to see them keep Williams, and Pitta is Flacco 's guy. He will stay. always a money thing.
  7. Other than our beloved Ray, nobody has more passion for football. Steve is the best, always has something to say, and backs it up with talent. love this guy, best to him and his family,it would be great to keep him in Balto for motivation. Thanks for doing your thing for three great years, love that you are a Raven!
  8. So many issues. Coaching is number one. Players in the NFL are all talented, and the next man up mentality should be the way. Hate to say it but the Pats are always in the mix, as their injured players are replaced well. Many dumb penalties all over the place, that is lack of discipline, taught by coaches. This cost us crucial yards when we were driving in several games. Play calling is horrible, me and my 80 year old mother know they will hand off up the middle on almost every first down,no matter what field position. If that is the way, OPEN up a hole for West or Dixon to make a play. Those guys will both be good for us, if we figure out how to use them correctly. Scoring TDs is essential to wins. It seems impossible for us to get there. Flacco has a rocket arm, get a burner who can catch the ball. Sadly, Perriman isn't that guy, way too many drops. Steelers have superstars, Brown, Bell and Ben, they made things happen, and we did not. Defense is still our strong point, but they collapse in the fourth quarter. Are they tired because the offense goes 3 and out so much? Again, it's a rough game, but coaching is needed to get these guys up for four quarters. Was so looking forward to another winning season, going to playoffs, this team breaks my heart again. We are spoiled here, used to a winner,it could be much worse, many really dysfunctional, poorly run teams, we are not. let's get it together next year, big time.
  9. Face mask a weird call, sometimes they are all over it, other times totally ignored.
  10. Joe looks a little off tonight.
  11. Brady is a jerk, yelling at teammates.
  12. Let's hope those two points don't come back to bite us.
