Granddad's surgery went very well. They removed half of his thyroid, it is now being sent off to Mayo Clinic for evaluation.We will get the results within 2 weeks. Before we left the hospital, he was laughing and joking like himself. If he continues to well, he can come home tomorrow. =) Thank you to all of my wonderful friends for your thoughts and prayers.My family and I appreciate them. Now we just need prayers for no cancer. =)
