Don't be surprised if Dixon is the long term starter, he doesn't have a lot of tread on his tires which is great, only carried the ball 200 times last year. Plus he can catch out of the backfield and pass protect, complete RB who just needs to refine his game. Never played behind an OL like the Ravens are going to have either, that's exciting.

I think he can be a starter, but he avg 200 carries a year through 4 years.  He had almost 4500 yards rushing and almost 1000 yards receiving through his college career.  Does look like Ray Rice, though.

So Forsett, Allen, LT, Trent and Buck all suck? They weren't enough? We needed ANOTHER back?

Trent kinda sucks, yes.  He could improve, but before he does, I wouldn't call him good.  LT can't stay healthy enough for us to know if he sucks, and you listed Buck Allen as 2 people.

Is nobody else going to talk about how too many teams are reaching for players far worse than the guy we just "reached for"? We've got some good talent falling to us

It happens every year.  Turns out different teams have different boards.  What you see as a reach isn't according to their big board.

So who is gonna pick Jack?

I dunno, Patsies?  I think he's easily worth the risk in the 3rd, so he'll probably go in the 2nd.  A year or 2 as a stopgap ILB that good at that salary is probably better than anyone else in the 3rd.  It's a gamble either way.  What if we pick Jack in the 3rd and Smith in the 4th?  Jack can play while Smith heals and takes over in 2 years.  Of course, that is taking on a lot of risk.

He's a passive wall off blocker, that comes down to effort and how high you rev the motor.

As for Noah Spence, the war room seems to really be hammering home the message about off the field red flags, if we overlooked Tunsil who was probably the most talented player in the draft then I wouldn't be surprised if we've dropped Spence off the board too.

But we met with Spence at the combine and had a private workout with him later on, too.  The front office would have definitely hammered him on his off field issues during interviews and could have cleared him when he went the extra mile to take all those drug tests.  He could be a Jimmy Smith situation, albeit more extreme.  I don't think he's off our board, but who knows.

  6. So, let's say your top 5 players for us gets picked before us(ignore the top 5 teams' needs).  Who is gone and who would you like for us to pick at 6th?  No trade backs in this hypothetical world.  How happy would you be in this scenario?

For me: Tunsil, Bosa, Buckner, Jack, and Ramsey all gone.  I don't have another guy that I love this early in the draft, but I'll pick Vernon Hargreaves III.  I'm not sure how good the top corners are at playing zone, but they look good playing man-to-man.  I'd still be happy with the pick as I think he would immediately contribute to an area that has plagued us for several seasons now.
